If you ask her to meet up and she comes up with excuses, especially 2 times. Someone can free their for another person if they really want to

If most of the conversation is on the phone then bro, you are in a bad situation.

If she flirts, but dont admit that she actually likes you.

These three especially are bad signs.

If she wants to hang out she can make time. No one is that busy where they can't make time they choose not to.

If they're talking only on the phone on through social media they could have anxiety, shy, or introverted. They still won't take forever to meet up in person.

I'd say that if she shows ANY hesitancy for actually meeting up soon...then she is just stringing you along for validation. Either she's really excited to meet up with you soon...or she's not.

Yeah, I had a run in with one of these women who I met through freelance work a couple of years ago. It was my first exposure to this phenomenon so I had no resistance built up for it and mistook her initiating conversation with me (via text usually) as genuine romantic interest at first. As time wore on I learned that she was in an emotionally unfulfilling relationship with a boyfriend that she was living with and craved attention and since she found me funny and knew I was single she would reach out and flirt almost daily.

The pandemic was raging and since I was in lockdown, I had zero other options I let it continue longer than I should have. To my credit, I turned my back and stopped replying once she found flimsy excuse #2 not to hang out in person after I tried to meet up the second time. She got the drift and stopped reaching out herself, then ultimately moved out of state anyway. Now I know this is a thing. Lesson learned.

The biggest lessons most guys in here can learn are when a woman treats you negatively how you have treated others, that's usually a wake-up call to sort yourself out in that regard.
