Sometimes. But we have made a lot of compromises. We have an open relationship. With a lot of rules and boundaries and honesty and open communication. I mean, we had a solid, monogamous relationship. Just, I guess, after a year plus, she didn't want to take any further steps in the relationship, like moving in together or anything. The like last two months we were together, there were just times where I could tell things were off, like she wasn't as happy as she had been in the past, so I ended up breaking it off. Communication between two people in their early-mid 20's is rarely the best.
The fact that we had a majority of the same friend group was also rough. Since it was really a no-fault kinda deal, it tensed up a lot of other relationships across the board since nobody was the asshole and people couldn't/didn't want to pick sides or anything.

I’m going to be contrarian here, sometimes women are defensive label themselves or say they don’t want to be serious because they are trying to “play it cool” - so I’d just have a conversation with her, ask if she really isn’t interested in a relationship or if she’s just trying to play it cool and see what she says. If she says she doesn’t want a relationship with you take her seriously, but you don’t really know how she feels until you ask her about why she said that.
She also might be down to be FWBs, I have a high sex drive and I’ve had times in my life where I’m too focused on other things (like my mental health) for a relationship but still want sex on the reg. I'm not trying to speak for women though. All I said is that women (just like men) are capable of making their own choices. Choices which often come with consequenses. Sometimes, these consequenses aren't pretty but such is life.
My comment comes from the fact that I've met women who like play "hard to get" and will give you mixed signals. I've had women tell me "I'll let you know when I'm available to meet" and then I do just that, let them tell me when they're available to meet, no more push from my side. Only to be met with a "why didn't you ask me out?" a couple of weeks later.
