You’re already starting from a place of fear. Very few men get me tood. That’s not the issue. You will get rejected on this journey. That’s apart of it.
You don’t ask for a hookup. You ask to hangout. You make new friends. Do you go to parties? Do you have a social group? Do you interact with any women
[–]loofyd 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Do you interact with any women
I'm too scared to interact with women i don't know :'(
[–]anonyoose 12 points13 points14 points 4 years ago* (11 children) | Copy Link
I do go clubbing sometimes. I do have a few female friends (that I’m not attracted to). I’m not scared of rejection at all but my main fear is having my life ruined by a false accusation.
[–]snowdude11 15 points16 points17 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
my main fear is having my life ruined by a false accusation
This fear is honestly unfounded and just in your head. Your life is not going to be ruined because you hit on a girl, get rejected, and then respectfully walk away. The only people getting "me too'd" are rapists and creeps. When a girl says no, move on. It's that easy
[–]HeavenPiercingMan 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
To be honest, a former friend tried to humiliate me when she found out that I got rejected by a mutual acquaintance, arguing that I should be metoo'd by her. Apparently it didn't matter that I took the rejection respectfully, somehow she was "off limits" because I was supposed to be aware she had a boyfriend (the girl in question never said so, not even while rejecting me, she just said she wasn't interested) and somehow the act of trying to get with her was a sin.

Any tldr? We don't have time to read a whole article. 😂
[–]Yagametrics 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
This is all part of the game. All is fair in love and war. You have to be able to hold all of those complexities without losing your shit. It's called having posture. You laid out the scenarios pretty well. I'm not sure what your overall disposition is but I can tell you see the mess and that is half way there. Now you have to be willing to dance through it.

Yeah you're fine. You showed up. Keep doing that.
[–]sparhawks7 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It’s really not hard… just don’t sexually assault someone?
[–]sparhawks7 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I really don’t know…
[–]Therocksays2020 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That’s fine to have that fear but you’ll never get anyone with that attitude.
If you simply set some rules for yourself “I won’t try to sleep with women who are really drunk, I will make sure she text her friends that she’s okay” etc etc it’s not hard to protect yourself
[–]HerrLogic 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (29 children) | Copy Link
It’s not that it doesn’t happen often, it’s that it only needs to happen to a man once.
[–]NateHate1402 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
Same could be said about getting hit by a car but we all still cross the street.
[–]HerrLogic 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
You can see cars coming. Women can give all the consent in the world and just change their mind afterwards or even plan ahead of time to do you in because they have it out for you. Your example would make more sense if cars had cloaking devices.
[–]Therocksays2020 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link
Sexual assault cases very rarely end in conviction. They have to prove it was not consensual.
The whole “change their mind afterwards” thing rarely flies.
https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/commentary/2019/09/15/why-are-we-so-bad-at-prosecuting-sexual-assault/?outputType=amp
[–]HerrLogic 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
Even if legally the case is dropped, the social stigma still sticks around. One guy was falsely accused of rape and despite the accuser(who wasn’t the one who had sex) admitting to lying, he was still expelled from his university. Once this shit happens, there’s no going back. The false accusers know the accused doesn’t have to be convicted to have their lives ruined.
[–]Therocksays2020 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
There’s no stigma because most of these cases never get that far.
[–]HerrLogic 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
It’s not the number, once again, it’s the severity of the worst case scenario.
[–]Therocksays2020 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
So the alternative is to be lonely like yourself. Got it 😂
[–]HerrLogic 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
To be alone is not lonely. It’s peaceful.
[–]19Black 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
As a criminal defence lawyer who runs roughly one sexual assault trial per month, this is completely false and removed from reality. Simply being accused of sexual assault can bring life altering consequences, one of which is a stigma that doesn’t fully go away even when the accused person has been found to be not guilty by a judge.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You might think that, but I’d imagine everyone in my social circle would know what is going on and my life would be fucked if anything like that happened
[–]Yagametrics 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Who says there is no going back?
[–]Therocksays2020 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link
And if you let that hold you back you’ll never get laid.
[–]HerrLogic 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
Never getting laid vs having your reputation destroyed and possibly prison time for bogus charges. If you think sticking your dick in wet meat is worth that be my guest.
[–]Therocksays2020 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
Haha no one is saying to force yourself on women. They even have apps where you can give consent to sex now.
But you stay a lonely virgin. Do what you gotta do 🤷♂️
[–]HerrLogic 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
A woman can retract consent after the deed is done and just lie and say she was forced or coerced. You truly can’t trust anyone anymore. She could even bang her head on a wall and say you did it and you’re automatically guilty because you’re the man.
[–]Therocksays2020 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Haha they could or they could love the sex and appreciate spending time with you. That’s how it usually works for me 🤷♂️
[–]HerrLogic -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Until one day for whatever reason they fee scorned or jealous and then you’re done.
[–]Therocksays2020 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Nah 😂 if this was that common there would be way more men in jail
[–]HerrLogic -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
It’s not the commonality that’s the problem, it’s the severity of the situation that’s the problem. Getting bit by a viper is not very common it you’d be an idiot to put your bare hand in a den of them. In that case, you only need to get bit once, then it’s curtains.
[–]Yagametrics 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I have had sex that would be worth that. I do consider myself a lucky man.
[–]HerrLogic 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
How was the pegging?
[–]Yagametrics 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sex like that requires no toys.
[–][deleted] 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
You don’t need to say anything special. Literally walk up and start a conversation with the girl like you would with another dude. If she’s into you it won’t be hard to tell and getting her to “come watch a movie later” won’t be that difficult of a task.
[–]anonyoose 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
How do I tell the difference between her being nice, just teasing me and into me
[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It’s something you’ll just sense — stronger eye contact, more receptive to your presence, etc. A girl who’s not into you simply won’t give off the same vibes. But also remember that all of this is a numbers game. Even if some of the first few girls are simply being nice, there’s another girl out there who’ll find you attractive and will be open to having sex with you.
You have to do it 100x.
[–]Skinny_Wizard 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Just tell them the truth and ask for consent. Be straightforward that she can date whoever she wants and you should too,if she doesn't want that respect her opinion and move on.
[–]IGetBoredSometimes23 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Fucking this.
This isn't rocket science, and you nailed it.
[–]ThrowawayOof98765 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
How to ask for consent without making it awkward?
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Speak about yourself before asking for consent. I openly tell that I am in an open relationship. I jokingly say that I am a slut, or that I am a man that needs a lot of space for myself, or things like that.
Why I do that? Because if the woman likes you, she wants to have sex with you.. Sometimes they just want to have fun too. You are setting borders and expectations. Also, women appreciate honesty. No one likes to be manipulated into sex... if you show respect by being honest, your value goes up, and it is easier to get consent
"Without getting me too'd"
This has never happened to me, so I agree with the other guy saying you're starting from a place of fear. Quit thinking every girl will "me too" you if you're direct or express your sexual interest
[–]cronasminate 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
As long as you ask for some sort of consent when it comes to any sexual activity, you should be fine. For example, don't just touch her boobs without any indication that she's okay with it. I personally just ask out right before I do anything and it has worked for me. I've hooked up 5 times this semester so far and I haven't been me tood.
[–]AlternativeBird2482[🍰] 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
what do you ask and when in the escalation?
[–]SuperDuperMaxy 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yes, Tay is very good
[–]dixxiepixy 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Getting me too’d?? Wtf
It’s when girls say you r***d them (most cases are the guys fault, sometimes the girl just regrets it and is lying). No matter the situation, if you get me’tood it’s game over for you
[–]IGetBoredSometimes23 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Avoiding #MeToo is easy when you know about affirmative consent. Learn what that is and you'll be fine.
The only times that #MeToo became an actual issue where a man had to face negative consequences for their actions when the men did things that were so egregious that they're was no question of sexual assault and/or sexual harassment take place. Harvey Weinstein got in trouble because he told women, "Fuck me or lose your career". That's rape no matter how you slice it.
There hasn't been any instance of a man facing negative consequences for their actions because they went up to a woman and said in a non-threatening way something that can be summed up as, "I think you're attractive and I'd like to take you on a date." If they say no, let it go, move on, and you'll be fine. And avoid doing anything at work unless the vibes are right.

“Hey I’m not looking for anything serious, how about you?”
“Im just looking for a friends with benefits situation”
Many will shut it down. Walk away from those. Some will reciprocate.
Women are just as horny, if not hornier, then men.
[–]Educational_Ad9036 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
The last statement is scientifically wrong
[–]KingoftheNorth412 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Then you’re talking to the wrong women.
Stop looking at attraction or women “scientifically”. Attraction doesn’t make sense the same way 1+1=2 does.
[–]Educational_Ad9036 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It's not about me talking to wrong women, it is a fact that men and women have different levels of sexual desire. When you put testosterone into a woman's body their sexual response increases dramatically. That doesn't mean that there is not horny women out there, it's just that both men and women respond to each other, in general, different.
[–]IGetBoredSometimes23 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Saying that women can't possibly be as horny as men is just telling on yourself.
Some of us get laid so much we had to stop jerking off. Work on your game and you'll get there, too.
Don't be creep If you don't want to get me too
There's a boundary there
[–]userisauser 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
There is one rule with women that nobody will tell you...
That rule is: There's no such thing as #METOO for a guy the woman is attracted to. Everything that will get you metoo'd is everything that will get you laid.
Metoo is about leverage. If a girl doesnt like you, she'll simply reject you. If you're powerful and a girl sees she can take that power from you, that's what they'll do. Women abuse power whenever they get it (which is why they never keep it). So if you do do something that really offends them, do not apologize, do not react, just leave. That's all you can do. If you start pleading for forgiveness, they'll just punish you more.
Concordantly, do not ask for permission or even seem like you need their approval for whatever it is that you are doing.
Grabbing their hand without their permission and saying, "come with me to insert fun non-sexual location" could get you metoo'd but thats also what a woman who would have a fling with you, wants you to do.
Alternatively, don't shit where you sleep. Don't do risky shit where everyone knows who you are. Anonymity is your friend. That may mean to not hit on girls on campus.
[–]sparhawks7 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Thanks for outing yourself as an abuser. For any men reading this, YES you need permission/consent from women. Doing stuff without their consent is how you get sexual assault accusations, and quite rightly so. This guy’s advice is exactly how you don’t get laid.
Also I think you’re on the wrong sub my guy. r/ incelsRus is thataway <—-
[–]sparhawks7 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Sorry, what? You don’t want to have sex with a girl because you think she will accuse you of rape? What?? If you can’t even have a conversation with women without them accusing you of sexual assault I think you have bigger problems buddy.
I’m gonna go ahead and assume that your post isn’t actually you outing yourself as a rapist, and assume you’re just parroting some stupid incel shit that you’ve read somewhere..
Women are people. Just talk to them. If you’re looking to hookup/only have casual sex, say so, it’s really not the massive deal you’re making it out to be. Lots of women want casual sex (although we don’t want it with creepy guys who are apparently worried they will sexually assault us?!). You could try tinder or a similar hookup app, as that’s probably an easier way to find girls who are looking for the same thing. Finally, hopefully you know what consent is, if you don’t, please educate yourself.
[–]anonyoose -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I know what consent is btw. Yes I know women are people but you have to see through a mans perspective to understand that false allegations can happen when a man rejects a woman or after consented sex has happened. Yes I know to obviously not pursue the idea anymore after she says no. But like I said if you can’t see it through a mans perspective you don’t understand where I’m coming from.
[–]sparhawks7 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Sorry, but this line of thinking is ludicrous. I will attempt to explain why.
Actual rapes and assaults vastly outnumber false accusations. And that’s only reported rapes. You’re more likely to get raped by another man than you are to be falsely accused.
Don’t forget that in a lot of cases that are dropped or go nowhere, it’s not actually because the accusation was false. Charges are dropped through lack of sufficient evidence, (unfortunately) having a particularly sexist male judge, intimidation of the victim/witnesses, the victim not wanting to be retraumatised, and a whole load of other reasons which could lead to uninformed people then saying ‘oh it must have been a false accusation’.
So maybe reevaluate your perception of ‘false accusations’. I can’t recall the specific percentage of accusations that are false, but you can easily look this up. Hopefully this will give you some peace of mind. (/s)
Your narrative is very similar to the narrative that “it’s impossible to work alongside women now because I might get accused of SA”. And every variation of “oh, I can’t even talk to women now in case I get accused”. So.
The thing is, allegations, eg in the workplace, have not risen recently because women are suddenly flinging around more false accusations. What the ‘me too’ movement has done is given women a platform, support, and confidence to actually speak out about issues rather than just grinning and bearing it because nothing would come of it if they did speak out. Nowadays, employers have to take this stuff seriously, thank goodness.
(If your response to this is “that would suggest that almost every women has experienced harassment or assault of some kind!”, then well done, you’re finally getting it.)
Gone are the days when creepy coworker no. 6 could call you ‘sweetheart’ and ‘darling’ while leering at your boobs.
Creepy coworker no. 3 can no longer hold office polls on which female employee has the nicest ass.
Creepy boss can no longer grab your hips to move you aside or shoulder massage you while he looks over your shoulder.
No more unsolicited hugs.
No more touching women’s bodies without their consent.
Women are quite frankly sick of having to put up with this shit. That’s just at work. Men did/do not treat their male peers in this manner, at work or otherwise, so it’s inappropriate to do it to people who are female.
Basically, unless you’re a rapist, it’s really not hard to avoid touching someone inappropriately. It’s really not hard to not rape someone. If you’re not sure if something is inappropriate, think ‘would I do this to another man?’ If not, it’s probably inappropriate. If you can’t stop yourself from being appropriate, just don’t date anyone or go near women until you can treat them like human beings. See? It’s not that complicated.
In the context of dating someone, seek affirmative consent throughout, ask to see ID, keep texts, don’t be entitled, use safewords, understand that she can withdraw consent at any point and respect that. OBviously you can’t be expected to know if she decided halfway through she didn’t want to and didn’t say anything, and OBviously if she regrets it after the fact, that’s not your fault. What you can do is notice body language etc, and again, ASK. Seek affirmative consent throughout.
You can only do so much, and anyone investigating an accusation KNOWS that. (And that’s if they don’t just disbelieve the woman by default anyway.) Back yourself by being able to show and explain how you treated her with respect. And be reassured in the knowledge that if a woman did make an accusation against you, it’s more likely that she will be asked what she was wearing than you being asked to prove that she consented. (Also /s.)
Ffs, we can’t even get actual proven rapists convicted, and you think it’s likely that you’re going to 1. be falsely accused and 2. have something come of it?! Eye roll.
Tell them the truth.
Every time.
Ask for what you want exactly.

1.Start with known social media hook up websites, like Tender. Go from there. Or Adult Friend Finder or Seeking Arrangements.
2.Use your social circle and just let people know that you are focusing on work, so nothing serious, but that you are looking to date casually.
3.The bar scene is famous for casual hook-ups, plus there are drinks.
