It turns out, I'm not Brad Pitt. Who would have thought.
[–]HughBeaumont500 45 points46 points47 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Hey wait a minute... I'm not Brad Pitt either.
What the???
They're on to us man. The jigs up
[–][deleted] 17 points18 points19 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I might be Brad Pitt. I mean, no one has ever seen us in the same room...
[–]froze_gold 83 points84 points85 points 4 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
When there are doubts, the answer is no. A simple philosophy.
[–]reezy221 22 points23 points24 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This is always the best policy to go by.
Don't go by her words or her "sorry i was busy". Go by her actions only, is she making herself available for you? unsure? then it's most likely no and in that case i'm out. If she comes running back then she's into you, if not then she never was... Win-Win.
[–]froze_gold 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Precisely. Acts Non Verba - the actions speak louder than her words do
Even then most men don't realize what love-bombing is, which is typically done with actions of affection, and often negative in results

Example of having doubts is if a man has to wonder "does she like me?" The answer is no. She might like you a little, because maybe you are at least respectable. But that doesn't lead to much especially not sex - unless she's desperate to find a body to lay.
A woman's interest is usually pretty obvious. If there's no doubts, then it's great.
[–]thepro189 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Not always the case.
In more reserved places and/or girls that are shy or have anxiety it’s hard to decipher whether or not they like you.
[–]froze_gold 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
I disagree greatly. Even shy girls will be receptive to advances if they're interested and there will be signs of that interest. Shy girls turn extrovert through texts over a guy they like.
Edit: Shy girls are harder to read into so you do need to be confident enough to keep your doubts based on facts rather than anxiety with those types of girls.
[–]thepro189 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
could you list a few signs?
and yea the confidence thing is true.
[–]froze_gold 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Proximity is a good sign. Take note of how close she gets to you when you're around her.
Touching. She may try and touch you more so than most. People don't necessarily touch other people over nothing - but we love to touch people we like.
Eye contact, smiles, laughter. If she gets out of her shell a little then she's comfortable with you. On the contrary, if she's red and nervous around you then that is also a good sign.
[–]Alive-Doughnut2345 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Cool! So I might as well just delete this chick’s number and block her for good! Screw trying to get to know each other gradually. Screw easing into things and not rushing in. Since she’s not undressing herself in front of me within the first few minutes of knowing me I guess it’s a bust!!! WHY DIDN’T I SEE IT SOONER??!?!?
[–]froze_gold 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
So - what I'm getting is you just met someone and she's making you have doubts already?
You realize that getting to know each other in preparation requires an initial attraction, right?... Woof
[–]Alive-Doughnut2345 -4 points-3 points-2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
There IS an initial attraction or we wouldn’t have exchanged numbers, genius! Had a date and everything. Not saying I secured the bag but it’s better than nothing!
[–]froze_gold 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Right and now to say that you are unsure is a matter of wether or not you want to waste you're time on her back burner.
[–]Alive-Doughnut2345 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
What delusional clown thinks he’s going to be the main priority of somebody else’s life when they only just met?
[–]froze_gold 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not sure what you're talking about now. If it's clear she's interested then that's all you need to work with. If it isn't clear, then it's important to pull back your efforts.
Edit: it honestly sounds like something external is troubling you in your life.
[–]DaJosuave 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Dude i meet women, and the ones that like me they blow up the phone from time to time, if a woman is "slow" to meet with you thats ok. But when they are sloe to respond, esñcially when cobtact is just a simple text away, then it means they are trying hsrd to avoid you. Women, especially young women, usually dont inhibit their attention from guys they are attracted to.
Next time youbgo to a bar, whatch the young girls and see hkw some of them will be all over some guys. Like hugs and lotd of touching with smiling. Now trandlate that into how she will be through text, thats like redponding in a timely msnner and keeping the conversation going. If she doesnt do that she's just keeping you around or skowly fading away.
[–][deleted] 25 points26 points27 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I'm not a fan of ego-boosting methods like this. Basically in doing this, you're saying "girls need to treat me like I'm one of the hottest & highest value men in the world, or they aren't worth my time." It's dumb. You're not the hottest & highest value man in the world. You're letting your ego get in the way of some potentially great experiences.
[–]UnparliamentaryTea 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I’ve always felt the same way. I have enough of an ego already without having to fuel it this way. It also feels like a great way to end up with a toxic girl who intermittently love bombs you. In general, the man is more likely to have greater enthusiasm early on and will lead the woman to that same level. Of course that doesn’t mean you should allow yourself to be yanked around and toyed with, but expecting women to treat you like Brad Pitt is like expecting a bank to treat you like Bill Gates, it’s an unrealistic standard
[–]Yang_Unchained365 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I echo this sentiment. I am not a fan either. I feel like men should not spend a lot of energy obsessing over what the women is thinking. The seduction process doesn't change regardless of what is in her head. Unless she says that she is not interested, wait a couple weeks to call and ask her out again. If she is not willing to make her self available, tell her politely to let you know when her schedule clears-up. In this case, don't contact her ever again unless she contacts you first.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly. Some might say it make me seem needy/desperate, but I'm more than willing to follow up with a girl or wade through periods of her disinterest. Logically speaking, doing so just maximizes the chances you'll meet up with that girl. Simple as that. Maybe it would deter me if I was going for a committed relationship, but for something casual, I'm casting my ego aside and just trying to maximize my chances.
[–]recursivePasta -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
There is a reason why a lot of pua are very narcissist, it's a process you have to take become a high value man. After going out consistently for 3 months, I am a full narcissist now too, but my open to hook rate is also so much higher, because the sub communication changes when you think like that.
[–][deleted] 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
[–]nicohul 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I agree with you, this is an over exaggeration, but still, if a girl is into you she won't make up any bullshit excuses. Of course, he has other qualities and is extremely famous, but that is kinda not the point.
[–]MassiveRepeat6 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This is really fucking stupid.
[–]m0rb33d 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Works wonders in the long run tho
[–]SgtSplacker 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think it's a good methodology. It's meant to stop a guy from being converted into an orbiter. I just had to exercise this on a girl that was interested but just not enough. I am not interested in a relationship with a girl that does not have burning desire for me. A girl can keep a guy around for utilitarian purposes and never really feel that maximum attraction for him. For that guy theirs a buncha rules. The temper is shorter. The judgments are harsher. Headaches come easier. Communication is harder. It sucks being that guy. That's the guy that gets cheated on. The guy that's a constant project and has to change his ways "to be better".

dumbest shit ive ever heard
[–]gbizzle2 18 points19 points20 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Thats assuming that women are 100% about looks. If you're a simp it doesnt matter if you're Brad Pitt or not she still isnt going to have a high level of attraction.
[–]pdx4nhl 12 points13 points14 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I’m not sure if I’m reading this correctly, I apologize if I’m not…but are you implying Brad Pitt is 100% looks? Because that couldn’t be further from the truth.
[–]gbizzle2 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
Well i doubt this post was about Brad Pitts character
This is what id rather replicate https://youtu.be/K1STVQ1KlVk
And it gets them every single time
[–]Calamity__Bane 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I took it to mean Brad Pitt as someone the person would be attracted to, meaning not just looks but the whole package (great video by the way).
[–]AelfredRex 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If you was Brad Pitt, would you be going "What if I was George Clooney?"
If you want to know what's going on inside a woman, just look in her eyes. You don't have to change your identity to do so.
[–]ToxicBlood 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is ridiculous advice and it sounds ridiculous. None of us are Brad Pitt nor are we other famous celebrities who already have a public image/persona that people have created in their heads based on what they have seen. If she hasn't met you yet or spent enough time with you to understand what she would find attractive about you, there is no point trying to jump to conclusions about her level of interest. It's easy to fantasize a girl being completely infatuated with you right of the bat, but this rarely if ever happens. Here are some better questions that can give you re-assurance when trying to date someone new.
Does she seem excited about going on a date with you?
Does she help set up additional dates or does she just say she's busy without ever offering alternatives herself?
Does she ask you between dates about things you mentioned that you have going on or about how your week/day went?
As you can tell, some of these are pretty basic but the basics are really the most reliable things to go off of. If there's no real interest from her after the first date based on you answers to basic questions such as these, then you clearly have no reason to drive yourself crazy second guessing everything. Just set up an additional date if she agrees to it and direct your energy somewhere else in the meantime. Maybe things don't work out with the guy she was dating and now she'll have more energy to try things out with you. It's hard to know what's going on people's lives so do your best to not get hung up on girls too early in dating.
[–]scenesick2 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
you're a little confused but you've got the spirit. And this is the cringiest thing I've ever read.
[–]IntrovertDatingCoach 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is so true, to the point where even a hint of someone I'm dating being the least bit flakey or non-responsive results in an automatic "NEXT" from me. Someone who truly likes you will darn near jump through hoops to spend time with you - heck, I've had dates with highly stressful, 12-hour a day jobs still try to find ways to squeeze me in for a date or night cap. Therefore, someone who has all the time in the world and can't answer a text or flakes on a date is no bueno!
[–]__Gynotarian__ 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
A better rule of thumb to go by is actions speak louder than words.
[–]DakiAge 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You couldn't explain it very well so let me sum that up:
Everyone should see themselves as Brad Pitt so if a girl rejects you by saying something that she wouldn't say to Brad Pitt, just move on and find some other girl.
[–]nicohul 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Of course, everyone should feel like him and try to become the best version of themselves!
[–]TheProMxn 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Fuck it, I’m buying a Thor costume!
[–]MoneyDiaryofaMoron 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
LOL! I’m sorry, but as a woman, this is the most asinine advice ever. Even Brad Pitt himself has trouble keeping women around because he’s kind of a major dick. Sure, he can get women because of his status, but what’s the point if he’s so insufferable that he can’t keep them?
Instead of cosplaying a rich and famous actor (which is something nobody reading this actually is) in your head, why not grow some self-love? Confidence comes with that, but first you need to love and value yourself. Then you’ll stop treating yourself like a street sweeper, picking up whatever and whoever indiscriminately like a lot of you do. Look at yourself and find some qualities you love, then keep going. Don’t stop until being by yourself is no longer some scary daunting task and you don’t actually need a woman to complete you.
That sort of attitude towards yourself will always get you women because we want to feel special just like you all do — which is to say that we want to be with people who want to be with US specifically, not just anyone. With a person who truly loves themselves, you’ll never have to doubt their motivations in dating you because they love themselves enough not to spend their time on just anybody.
It could've been any man, Brad Pitt was just an analogy. Everyone has flaws, but the point i was trying to make is that Brad Pitt would probably be able to get an average girl with ease, and she wouldn't play with him.
[–]SgtSplacker 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I think you missed the point also. The Pitt thing is all about gauging another persons level of interest.
[–]MoneyDiaryofaMoron 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lots of women would say no to Brad Pitt. I can honestly say I would. You know why? Because an asshole, even a rich and handsome asshole, is not some major get for a person who values themselves. You guys have this mentality like women are a monolith. It’s super cringe and I’m sure contributes to why you’re on a sub where you source advice on how to get with women.
I’m not even trying to hate, it’s just sad watching all you guys spin your wheels but not go anywhere.
[–]ToxicBlood 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Completely agree, you need be happy with yourself instead of relying on others to confirm your sense of self worth. Confidence in oneself is attractive and that's a fact.
[–]TheSunshineMan 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
She's meeting/sleeping with you or she's not.
If not, she doesn't like you or your have bad Game.
[–]JacobMoogberg69 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I really like this and often use it to demonstrate to guys that they are being if not played at least dealing with a woman who is not attracted to them. It is actually a good rule to protect yourself and keep your self respect.
Most guys will come up with all kinds of excuses for why a woman was rude to them, flaked, canceled last minute or got naked with them in bed but didn't want to fuck, etc. "Oh she had a genuine excuse and that's why she canceled 5 mins before the date, oh she didn't mean it this way, oh her ex abused her so she can't have sex (while she left the date with you and went back to her ex to suck his dick)." If you let yo ur self be treated like this you deserve to be treated like this.
[–]PeacockBiscuit -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is my first time to hear about this rule. Interesting
[–]mikedamike 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Ivabighairy1 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Instead of Brad Pitt, try this, if she is into me she will say yes. If not, she says no. As for her taking a test, if she’s into you she will add “maybe some other time”. If she doesn’t say that, she’s not into you. Comparing yourself to Brad Pitt doesn’t work.

If you’re looking for great information on the subject of dating. (First dates, flakes, physical escalation, her level of interest, etc.)
Check out Corey Wayne on YouTube and read his book “How to be a 3% man” This one book has drastically changed my dating life for the better. I’ve listened to it 6 or 7 times now. Take good notes and enjoy the results:)

If you have to ask yourself if she likes you, she doesn't.
It's as simple as that.
