Dude, nobody gets kicked out of every bar on the street plus a criminal record for no reason. How exactly are you approaching these women? What do you say to them? How do you say it? How do they react? If they’re not responding then what do you do? Etc. it sounds like you’re doing something fundamentally wrong, but without more info we can’t help.

Million-dollar question.
[–]AnonomousWolf 203 points204 points205 points 7 years ago (58 children) | Copy Link
Sounds like you shouldn't be going out alone yet, try and meet up with a Pickup community in your area or a friend.
You're obviously doing something wrong to creep these girls out, and not realising it. You need to find out what that is and stop doing it, a good wing will quickly spot this and point it out.
[–]throwaway_7609 64 points65 points66 points 7 years ago (30 children) | Copy Link
Or stop trying to "pick up" girls, and just make some friends and meet people and actually get to know them.
Crazy idea, I know.
[–]AnonomousWolf 16 points17 points18 points 7 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link
What if I already have enough close friends? But no girls I like in my life?
The "pick up" community is what you make it, it's basically just a bunch of guys that want to work on their social skills especially with girls.
It's a community of people that realize your next great "Girlfriend" isn't just going to break into your room one night and sitting around hoping she magically appears in your life is stupid.
[+]throwaway_7609 -9 points-8 points-7 points 7 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link
It's not "what you make it." Its guys who want to have casual sex with girls. Not judging that in itself, but it's silly to pretend it's about anything else.
[–]AnonomousWolf 14 points15 points16 points 7 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link
Sure it's mostly guys wanting to have casual sex, and there is nothing wrong with that.
But what I ment by "it's what you make it" is that you can use the pickup community to meet your wife, or next girlfriend without ever having the goal of just casual sex.
The core of the pickup community is bettering your skills with women and social value, what your goals are is up to you.
[+]throwaway_7609 -14 points-13 points-12 points 7 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
What it could theoretically arrive at once there is beside the point. You wouldn't be there with that goal. No one says to themselves "What I really want to do is meet the woman that will be my wife," followed by "How I'll do that is by learning 'skills' from a group of guys looking for one night stands."
[–]AnonomousWolf 8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link
I know a bunch of guys that are in pickup because they want to meet a great girlfriend and be exclusive to her.
If you are socially awkward with girls, and don't really meet lots of girls what are your other options to try and meet a great girlfriend or future wife?
Sit around at home, remaining socially awkward hoping she will magically enter your life one day?
[+]throwaway_7609 -11 points-10 points-9 points 7 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
So, you're socially awkward and have a hard time even having conversations with people, and the realistic and appropriate goal is to leap to "let's hook up"? Makes a lot of sense 🙄
[–]AnonomousWolf 5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
You're straw manning what I've said.
That's not what I said.
What's your suggestion then?
Worst case scenario imporving your social skills and confidence in the bedroom through hookups is still lightyears better than doing nothing.
[–]throwaway_7609 -2 points-1 points0 points 7 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
If you truly think that doing nothing and trying to hook up are the only two options faced by someone who is socially awkward, then I don't know what to tell you, man. Are you seriously that limited in your thinking? Can you not in your daily life see people having social interactions that aren't for the purpose of sex?
[–]welshwelsh 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think the process for most guys goes like this:
[–]PuroPincheGains 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
That's very wrong. There's absolutely no reason you can't cold approach someone, get their number, go on date, and get into a relationship. Pick up is the process of successfully meeting, charming, and progressing a relationship. Whether that is a long term one or a hook up is between the man and woman involved. You have a fundamental misunderstanding about this community, so it's weird that you're generalizing and pretending like you know anything about it. Plenty of men come here because they feel that they won't ever find love, won't ever have a girlfriend because of their social ineptitude. Social skills are indeed skills, and not everyone has had the nature or nuture required to master them. This community helps catch guys up to speed. The very first thing you learn here is inner game, which is building a lifestyle that you enjoy, makes you attractive, allows you to meet people, and makes you confident. Nothing about that is controversial. It's universal advice, and if you were involved in any way here, you would already know that.
[–]eltigre350 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well its mostly about that because if a girl wants to have casual sex its pretty easy for her to get a guy to do that. Its about acquiring those skills as a guy. At least its for me. But tons of guys actually try to have girlfriends and such as well.
[–]douchabag_dan 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Most man, whether it be in the pickup Community or otherwise, are looking for or at least open to Casual Sex. That has nothing to do with this community
[–]throwaway_7609 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That has nothing to do with a community called "seduction"?
[–]Principatus 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I recommend dance lessons like bachata or kizomba. You get to meet lots of women and get used to being with them. Eventually it’s like ‘don’t shit where you eat”, don’t sleep with girls you dance with - but the social interaction is really helpful, spending so much time with women.
[–]LotsOfSpanking 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Dancing bachata and kizomba/urban kiz is where it's at my man! Most fun hobbies ever.
[–]Moderatorrecyclablebanthas 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

One can learn some really important aspects of game by picking up a partner dance like bachata or kizomba.
And at the same time, one does have access to a dating pool of people in the scene.... Like dating at work, it's all about how one goes about it. I personally dated exclusively within various dance scenes for years. I pretty much refused to date non-dancers for a couple years because they didn't understand the life.
There's absolutely no issue with it if one can date without burning bridges down.
People end up loving their respective dances so much that they learn to put aside issues from the break-up so they can enjoy the dance afterwards.
[–]Principatus 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Oh that’s good dude I’m happy for you. I’d love to be able to dance with someone naked in the living room.
I guess there’s two main reasons why I don’t do it. Personally I’m not yet confident enough to flirt with people I know I’ll be seeing regularly in the future, I’m worried I’ll make it awkward, not with girls I sleep with but with girls who reject me. It feels much safer flirting with someone I know I’ll never see again if it backfires.
Secondly, at this stage in my life, I much prefer fuck buddies / fwb to a serious relationship, I want to bang as many women as humanly possible. But if I hit on every girl I dance with I’ll get a reputation for it, like others have done. It’s super obvious and everyone can see it.
Maybe just some girls might be okay (for me). If there seems to be chemistry while we’re dancing, if I get a boner dancing with her, I’ll ask her out. But not just every pretty girl I dance with.
[–]Moderatorrecyclablebanthas 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
1
Oh that’s good ....
It's not even just about me. People in dance communities always end up dating each other, almost excluding people who aren't dancers because non-dancers usually freak out at how physically intimate people are on the dance floor, even people who are just friends.
My point is that among dancers, dancers are usually more attractive and people generally go out of their way to make things okay after a break-up, whether from a casual or serious thing. People who can't handle a break-up in a dance scene, don't last in the scene.
2
I guess there’s two main reasons why I don’t do it. Personally I’m not yet confident enough to flirt with people I know I’ll be seeing regularly in the future....
Couple things here:
It'll get easier to be confident about it, because the screening process is something you'll be able to do as part of dancing with them.
Also, flirting isn't some special thing that should be offensive if you choose the wrong person. Flirting is being playful with others and not taking yourself seriously, not being skeezy. (Skeezy comes later. :P ) In fact, being playful is easily one of the best parts of partner dancing. Once you relax into it, being playful is something you could do as easily as breathing.
3
Secondly, at this stage in my life, I much prefer fuck buddies / fwb to a serious relationship, I want to bang as many women as humanly possible.....
Yeah, I know what you're saying. But the real problem is guys who come into a dance scene and do one of two things:
This is where another recommendation would come into play: game within more than one dance community. If you pick up 2-4 dances, you have time to observe a respectful period in one dance scene while things blow over, even if you're right back to it in another scene or two.
As for "reputations," the longer you're around, the more you'll realize how incestuous dance communities are. Reputations? Everyone ends up sleeping with a number of the people there. It's not uncommon for anyone to have at least a few exes or former sex partners in the same venue on a given night. That's normal and you learn to deal with it. It's almost certainly happening around you RIGHT now, whether you know it or not.
Dance communities are some of the least judgmental people about casual dating because of this, as long as one isn't a dick about it. So, you shouldn't run into conservative attitudes about this, at least not if you're in a major western city.
4
Sure, everyone has their preferences.
Side-note: Learning to control your erections while dancing with women, is one of the early skills worth picking up. The real chemistry you'll sense while dancing with a girl is not so much whether you get an erection, it's noticing all the ways her personality and temperament come out in the way she dances with you.
Like, is she sassy? Does she seem judgmental towards you when something goes wrong, or helpful? Is she dead weight or fiery? There's a ton you'll be able to sense as you develop.

[–]SyrusDrake 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Cool, just be happy with being friends with women. Who needs romance or sexual intimacy anyway.
[–]throwaway_7609 -2 points-1 points0 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This response perfectly illustrates the problem with this whole attitude that so many here have.
Ya know, because they're definitely mutually exclusive.
[–]SyrusDrake 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They're not mutually exclusive. But the mindset of "just become friends with girls and then ???" is exactly why there are so many guys who remain single forever and/or turn into entitled Nice Guys. Romantic relationships do not just develop from friendships on their own. They might for some people but those people subconsciously do something. If you don't do whatever that something is, you'll just remain friends.

Im not going to say YOU were a bad guy here, but Im also NOT toing to let it slide as if YOU are a victim. It is one thing to hit on girls and have them accuse you of being annoying. Harassment though? Means you kept at it and didnt take NO for an answer. And if you were banned by the club for that, then it makes sense. The fact you were fined by a court means you did something illegal (civilly) - so yeah...not buying that you just asked girls out and they told the bouncer. Im sorry.
My advice is to work on the social anxiety. Being creepy is that one area girls have no leeway for...none! And Im speaking as a girl...it makes women uncomfortable. It can sometimes be scary. And a guy that soesnt pickup social cues is usually the creeper! Get a friend you can practice with. Role play if necessary. Talk to random people when ylu are out at the store, library, mall...anyplace ylu can get over that social anxiety
[–]PuroPincheGains 18 points19 points20 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Look dude, women expect to be approached in a bar. Even if they aren't feeling it, they don't just go tell the bouncer. If girls are asking bouncers to handle you, you're being weird. Please write out a detailed play by play of one of your approaches so we can actually help you. Somewhere along the line, you're either giving off a bad vibe or overstaying you welcome. We need to figure out exactly where that is and stop it
[–]ivan_mcnasty 7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You’re doing something wrong. Probably drunk and aggressive. I’ve never heard of anyone getting reported in my entire life, you really need to evaluate why this is happening to you

Things could always be worse - you could be in Amsterdam and Rotterdam NEW YORK (we were fully founded by the Dutch, We even have a Guilderland)...then you would really be in trouble with women. There is no one here . I did actually pick up women there as a Rollerblader..saying I want an activity partner. I got some numbers. Could work over there too. Rollerblades also make you taller.
Sucks that you have to give those sort of disclaimers. Is it really that bad here?

Maybe there's some connection with you drinking in order to hit on women, especially during the daytime.
Drunk guy gets kicked out bar for harassing women is not unusual. Drunk guy gets arrested during the daytime for harassing women is slightly more unusual, because who does that shit?
If people are literally ignoring you when you try talking to them, you need to seriously recalibrate your interactions.
[–]someonesopinion6969 5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
is that it?
maybe you were actually harassing girls think about that? realize why they see you as harassing them.
you're lucky it wasn't worse.
a fine is nothing, i have community service for calling my ex girlfriend too many times after she told me to stop contacting. i spent months thinking about prison,
let this be a lesson to you. thou shall not put pussy on the pedestal
[–]donaldtrumpsmistress 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I had an incident of my own years ago. It'll get better the more you practice and get less anxious and become better socially calibrated. Most likely the issue is one of two things (or both):
1- excessive anxiety and hesitating to approach. This is the main thing I struggled with that'd get me in trouble. Make sure you follow a five second rule from now on if you don't already. If you're like me there isn't an malicious intent here, but it can look weird if you end up lingering (typically because I'm just really anxious of some person near them who will hear and I'll be embarrassed)
2 - not socially calibrated enough to know when they're uncomfortable. For now as you practice I'd say avoid any kind of 'plowing'. Keep it simple, express interest and if they give any excuse at all just give them a nice to meet you and be on your way. Even if they don't give one but just don't seem interested in speaking I'd wrap it up.
[–]360DegreeNinjaAttack 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sounds like you were probably fined because you didn’t harass them hard enough
Just a guess

[–]Moderatorrecyclablebanthas[M] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If someone said to you, "I have no money, what can I do to fix this?" You would have questions, right? Because you only have the result, but there are a bunch of things that lead to that result. You'd have to know what someone was doing with their money before it ran out, among other things.
What you have done is list off a few results, with pretty much nothing about how you arrived at those results. The implication here is that you have some improvement to make in your level of awareness, because you didn't even think any of this information was important to list and the picture one gets from reading your post is of understandable confusion.
Let's do a rundown of the gaps in what you have posted, and what they mean or indicate.
So I went to the nearest bar in my hometown, drinking and make some contact with girls.
This one sentence illustrates most of the problems here.
The problem is that after a few approaches some girl went to the bouncer and complaint about me. Without any discussion I was kicked out of the bar.
No, the problem is not that "some girl went to the bounder." You unintentionally made your own problem in the way you approached that girl.
Let's help you for real here. But in order to do so, you must fill in the gaps because you've left too much out here:
So I switched to daygame.. I have a lot of approach anxiety and try to curb that with drinking alcohol. Mostly girls will ignore me and continue their way. But this time the police came to me and said that I was harassing girls and got an fine and criminal record for €100.
Again, you did yourself no favors by getting drunk as you did this. And the same questions above apply here:
Overall, there is a basic model of social interaction that we need to look at here. It's between two people at least, and involves a two-way exchange, right? So with that in mind, this is what's happening:
Seems simple enough, right? It's like two radios communicating. The results you're getting though, are the kinds of things you see if you're not receiving well enough or if you're interpreting a signal incorrectly.
You've mentioned high anxiety issues. This issue is notorious for clouding a man's mind so that Step 5 is all but impossible because of how anxiety preoccupies the brain so much it has trouble receiving.
This is something you can address through therapy like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. You can't address it by taking you and the same problems to another city or country. You'll only reproduce the same results unless you face the central issue here.
[–]IntensePancakes 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
You need to learn about social norms and cues. That is step zero of learning how to talk to women. There are tactful, socially acceptable ways to show your interest to women and you clearly not doing anything like that. You need to learn how to tell when a girl is uncomfortable and if she is, how to change your behavior. Just the fact that you were getting drunk in the day and trying to approach women lets me know that you are really far off the base of knowing what is acceptable. I get that you have anxiety but drinking in the day in public is not going to solve that for you. I think you need to take a step back and learn how to interact with people in a more general way before trying to meet women to date.

You should be focusing more on your inner game right now than trying to get girls. You can't ATTRACT girls if YOU are not ATTRACTIVE! I could tell from your stories your vibe is what is getting you in trouble because there is no way you get fined for approaching girls unless you make them feel uncomfortable. My suggestion to you would be to work heavily on your inner game it could take some years but it would be more than worth it in the long run.
[–]SupremeFR 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
How was you approaching the girls? If you wasn't sexually harassing them then I'm not sure you can get fined? Unless you kept touching them etc?
[–]DrinkerOfWater69 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is why I don't approach women, I wait for the interesting ones to approach me. I'm an extremely tall and have somewhat of an Apache Indian RBF (I live in USA) so... approaching girls is kinda awkward when they ALWAYS find you scary and intimidating

If you expect to receive any help here you need to tell us how you are approaching; what are you saying and how are you saying it to women?
You are clearly not telling the whole story here, as others have already discussed. What did you expect people to tell you if you dont tell us how you are approaching and what you are saying?

I guess you must have felt very embarrassed. This will be a great story when you get good at gaming. Find someone to mentor you. It's hard when you have little feedback
