Here’s a quick FR that involves an interesting set:

I was standing at the bar and I was next to a sitting two set. My target was sitting next to me, and the obstacle next to her. I opened with something situational, a joke probably but I don’t remember, I just always go situational. I opened the obstacle first, and basically talked over the head of my target and ignored her. Joking back and forth with the obstacle, she starts to act annoyed by my presence but I’m just being friendly and talkative. I plow through and still ignore the target, literally talking over her head.

The target jumps in now and acts really annoyed. She’s asking me why I’m still there talking to them and shit. I knew it was just her bitch shield acting up, which is fine. So I decide to finally acknowledge the target and I drop this little tune on her that goes a little something like this:

“You know, I bet you get approached by guys all the time and you think they’re all douchebags. So as a way to avoid them, you put up this “bitch shield” and act like this to keep them away. Well, I just want you to know that I don’t think you’re really a bitch, and I bet you’re actually a nice person once you let somebody get to know you. I think it’s just a defense mechanism to protect yourself.”

Straight face. Not a cocky/funny routine. You need to be sincere.

I’ve read FR’s where PUA’s drop shit like this when a girl is being a total “bitch”. But we all know (at least you do if you read the introductory material) is that most girls aren’t really bitches. They just get hit on constantly and when they do act like this (and it’s actually rare, I’ve approached so many sets and rarely see this kind of behavior, even on high quality girls) it’s not to be taken personally. It’s a defense mechanism. So being able to get on her level for a second to understand her “plight” and acknowledge that you know she really isn’t a bitch is actually very attractive to them.

I’ve never used this before but it worked. She started to qualify herself to me. She agreed and gave me a huge, bright smile. And she’s real cute too so it made me feel great. She was actually a nice girl and a lot of fun to talk to. We totally ignored the obstacle that I thankfully diffused earlier, and it was just me and her.

She’s a tough one though. I didn't win her over yet. Her frame is strong. She’s very confident and was giving me my shit right back to me. I was doing some cocky/funny stuff on her and teasing her, and she was doing it right back. I’m very attracted to girls who can keep up with me. There’s very few that can and I love it. However, I needed to calibrate my game for this one because she’s a real firecracker, so I was really having a hard time keeping a dominant frame. And these types of girls get off on being dominated mentally.

It turns out we both live in the same borough of the city, which isn’t near where I met her, so we decided to share a cab home because it will be cheaper. We head out of the bar and I hail a cab, open the door, and slap her ass to get in. She’s shocked that I did that, but I could tell she liked it. She starts shit testing me and she says she’s not coming, so I totally ignore her and hop in the cab without looking at her and leave the door open. I slide over in the backseat and without saying a word, guess who comes running in…

In the cab home she’s testing me some more and trying to dominate my frame. I’m trying to smoke a cigarette in the cab, the cabbie doesn’t mind, but she’s saying no and pretends to be allergic and shit. Total bullshit. So I smoke it anyway. She wants to get dropped off first but my neighborhood is closer so I tell her no.

The whole ride is pretty much shit tests, kino, and me laughing at her. I’ve never had such a battle with shit tests in my life, and I did fairly well by just ignoring most of them and laughing.

When we pull up to my place, I know it’s going to be an insane shit test hurricane if I try to pull her into my place. I’m not really up for the battle and I’ll probably lose. She does seem attracted to me so I just go for the number.

I hand her my phone to put her number in and she says no. I tell her “ok that’s cool. Well, I’m paying (for the cab) with credit card so just give me $10 bucks and we’ll call it even”. She says she’ll give me her number if I pay for the cab. I was absolutely shocked and literally told her “Fuck you, I’m not paying for your number”. Now she’s like “Nooo, wait. Take my number I was kidding!” and tries to fight for my phone. I refuse to give it to her and tell her “no thanks” but she’s fighting for the phone and steals it from my hands. I really didn’t even want it after she said that. She puts in her number, first name, last name, and where I met her.

I actually end up paying for the ride to my place because we both have credit cards and no cash. I call her a cheap bastard and exit the cab and close the door. The cab leaves and takes her home. Definitely the strangest number close ever…

I texted her tonight:

Me: You’re welcome for the cheap cab ride. The next one is on you – Delightful_White

Me: Just make sure you drop the bitch shield next time.

1 hour later

Her: I’ll only drop the shield if you agree to drop the asshole ‘tude

Her: And thanks for not attacking me :)

Isn’t she sweet?

Me: You seemed harmless. I gotta go but we’ll hang out again soon. I’ll text you later this week.

I know this girl is going to be a tough pull. She’s definitely a long fuse, but I figured what the hell, I’ll try her anyway. I get the flakey vibe from her, and I know it’s going to be tough to get her on a day 2. I’ll probably text her later this week to ask her if there are any good bars in her neighborhood, then tell her she’s taking me there. I’ll probably think of something better, but the standard “drinks at time and place” isn’t going to work on this one.

Any ideas on how to play this one? I’ll probably just keep running asshole game on her until she cracks, but phone game is going to be hard and I know I can pull if I get her on a day 2.
