"I'm picky" is the worst excuse there is. I know people love to defend this line of reasoning, but why the hell would you try an opener like this if you weren't even willing to bring her home in the first place?

"I could have had her, but I was looking for something better" is something AFC-me used to say all the time.

The first time I ran the apocalypse opener I got to make out with a girl who was about an 8. It was awesome. It really boosted my spirits till she got booted from the club for being too drunk. Haha

Because I'm an aggressively honest and direct person with a good sense of humor this is (at least used to be) actually my most successful closer in a first contact situation. This is how I wound up with my current girlfriend of 4 years.

I have never thought of using it to open, but I KNOW that this works if you have a sincere confidence and the ability to laugh with the girl if she doesn't respond favorably. It has typically lead to good conversations in the times that it hasn't lead to sex.

I don't really get it.

I hadn't heard of this before so I read the pdf. I enjoyed it a lot and was pretty excited for the FR, but he didn't close with either girl and his conclusion was that he needed to build more comfort. It seemed like Bravo's whole point about the Apocalypse Opener was that you don't need to do any of the regular PUA stuff, just get her alone, ask with confidence, and "hold the line" as he says.

Alright, so you use this opener and you are hugely successful. The girl wants to come home with you(!). But what are you going to do on the 10-20 min ride back your place? Any advice for avoiding the incredible awkwardness and possible LMR?
