“We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.” - Jim Rohn

Most of us have heard this quote over and over again. I truly believe its meaning is stronger than most people realize when they read it.

I want to know from all you AFCs: If you lock eyes with a girl, and are fighting yourself whether or not you should approach, what stops you other than rejection? Does rejection hurt that much more than regretting an opportunity you've given up with that girl?

The ones posting here about how afraid they are of approaching, your emotions are justified, I understand that. Emotions are there for a reason. You can work on it though -- the only way to do that is through practice. You have to approach to improve. You have to get up, go out, and face the fear. It's psychology 101.

Then, instead of posting here telling us about the regrets you have from not approaching the girl that was giving IoI's plain as day, you'll post here telling us how brave you were.

Even if she rejects you, would you rather feel the pain of rejection, or the pain of regret? I'll give you a hint, one of them shows how 'alpha' you really are for facing your fears, while the other just proves you're not ready for this.

How bad do you want it?
