I’ve been reflecting on my dating experiences, especially after coming out of a long-term, seven-year relationship. Transitioning to dating multiple women through apps like Hinge has been a big change. While I’ve gotten a lot of attention, I realize I still need to work on my communication and dating style. I’m confident in myself, but it’s tough when you think a date went really well, only to find out the other person didn’t feel the same connection. It makes me wonder what’s missing. Physically, I feel like I’m in a great place, but mentally, I’m questioning what I might be lacking that makes women hesitant to pursue something after the first date. I’m just thinking out loud here, but after several dates, where everything seemed fine through texting and phone calls, I wonder if there’s something specific about me that isn’t resonating in person. The silence after these dates is deafening. If anything, this has motivated me to be the best man I can be, but it’s still pretty painful.
