Online dating has been terrible for me. Even though I go to a big college I've had no success with online dating with attractive women. I've tried all the apps too. I just don't get a lot of likes or matches and rarely with like 8s or 9s. It's already rare for me to match with one of these attractive women and most of the time I get ghosted during the conversation or ghosted when planning to actually meet up. The thing is I guess I just never realized how unattractive I was to women until I tried dating apps. Like even when I look in the mirror sometimes I think I look good.

I've never tried approaching irl since I never really get the chance to. I also obviously have some approach anxiety too. Nobody talks in any of my classes and I don't have a social circle so I can't go to parties or other social gatherings. However I recently got a fake so I want to try going out to the clubs and bars alone.

But to me it feels like if I don't have success on dating apps why would it be better approaching irl. Going to the clubs and approaching would take me a while to learn and need some effort from me but is it even worth it if I'm just not attractive enough. Maybe I should spend my time trying to improve my photos or something? Do any of you guys who have tried both have different experiences irl vs dating apps?
