Until I turned 21 I had never done anything. I had a shit ass job, and just went home every day after work, and watched TV. Literally, that's all I did. And honestly I didn't mind, I still enjoyed my life. The thought of hooking up with someone just didn't even cross my mind. Even in High School, I never even wanted to hook up with anyone, sure I found girls attractive, but the thought of actually doing something with them just never even crossed my mind.

Keep in mind I was raised extremely religious, so sex was about the worst thing you could possibly do, hell they even taught us we should never even kiss before we're married or we're going to hell. I'm guessing that's why I never did anything. Anyway I became an agnostic, so that's not bothering me anymore.

Right before my 22nd birthday is when I decided "fuck it" I'm gonna start going out. So I went from never doing anything with not even a girl's number in my phone, to hanging out every day, making literally 100s of new friends, getting about 10 number closes, and a couple k-closes, in about 4 months.

Now I'm still nowhere near where I should be according to my age, because still being a virgin is an absolute burden on me. I'm trying to not let that bother me, and I'm trying to rationalize it by saying I was a really late bloomer, and that I truly wasn't even trying to have sex until 4 months ago. But I get really, really depressed about that sometimes.

Anyone have a similar experience, and what do you do when you start to get depressed?
