This sub has people thinking that approaching a girl in public is not the way to meet women anymore. It definitely isn't for the vast majority of average guys with minimal results who don't want to improve their dating life or who are tied to their comfort zone.

I was one who discovered this sub while I was in a time in my life where my relationships were non-existent and the only advice I could find was "You'll meet someone eventually." "The right person will come when it's the right time." "Just be natural." "Just be you."

While this advice holds some merit, the vast majority of guys here in this sub are looking for a better answer to their demise in one of the most fundamental aspects of life; relationships.This advice will get you no where if you have never had any results before.

It was so exhausting feeling trapped and having no way to really improve my relationships with the opposite sex. Finding pickup and realizing that I could do something about it (And absolutely have done something about it) was so, and is so refreshing and empowering.

I realized that improving my relationships is something within in my control.

I feel sad that the advice here is getting filtered through a lens of conformity and being "politically correct." Thus the advice on here now is minimal to what it used to be. But at the same time I feel happy that most of you who follow the general advice now don't stand a chance in the real world with girls, so inevitably there is less competition, especially in the world of pickup.
