While I agree Models is the best, other pua advice is still useful. Was watching a few Mystery videos a couple of days ago. The guy knows his shit. While you shouldn’t just use his stuff, or one gurus way of doing things, obtaining a wide array of knowledge AND then later applying it in the field will yield you best results

Manson is very contradictory. At the start of the book he explains all the benefits of being honest and authentic. By the end of the book he has given you BS pua tactics (cold-read, etc) so you can talk to women about random stuff that has nothing to do with your desires (the actual reason you are talking to her).

So he starts by preaching authenticity, ends by preaching "just pretend you want to talk about random stuff, so she would see your personality"

I finished to read Models recently. By only applying some basic concept in that book, a lot of things radically changed during my interactions with others. I already knew many things, some of them are part of my inner self since years, but the book helped a lot anyway to get a bigger picture, especially since I've been out of this game for almost 2 decades.

It has a lot of good points.
But it also came from a position of someone already good at seduction.

I tick off a lot of the aspects he discusses, but that doesn't mean I'm great at this whole game.

I suspect the steps I'm missing are some that he's had years perfecting before providing the new paradigm.

Honestly I think mansons models is sheep food. It's good for people with lighter levels of self awareness, hence masses. It's the likes of the mode one book. Not that simple stuff is bad but that there's better stuff out there.

The holy grail is probably the book of pook, followed very closely by 60yearsofchallenge .. and a handful of others that have made a massive contribution to bring awareness to this space.

If I could give my imaginary son one book before death, it would be pooks. It may take him 10 years to get it but it once he does, the world is his vs giving him Models which will help him right now but no further

I've read it. To me it boiled down to 2 pretty straightforward ideas:

1) Have your shit together, ex: career, fitness ("no excuses" he says, which I wholeheartedly agree with), groom/be clean, dress decently, put some effort into making your apartment welcoming & female friendly, etc.
2) Play it cool & don't be needy, ex: I texted a girl I wanted to date and with whom I got along well to wish her Happy Birthday. No response for days. Instead of follow up texts, I thought "oh well..." and forgot about it. She finally texts me "Hey sorry I was camping and had no cell service...!" (which was true, I heard about the trip later) and we got together later that week and went on a date then had sex at my place.

It's a worthwhile read for sure, but I didn't find it much more complicated than that.

Book is great, really enjoyed the part about communication where he addresses stuff like cold reading, etc..

Still, The Art of Seduction takes top 1 for me.

Ive read models, MM, The Game, 48 laws of power, and a few more. I dont believe one book is show all. Like style did when he started learn from everyone and then make your own way.

I have not read this book. However, after reading several comments about it, it seems like it is a mix of radical honesty, Mode One, and bits from The Game.

Anyone else concur?

I did read the book and it didn't really resonate with me or talk about anything that I don't already know or haven't figured out on my own.

Essentially the main message I got from the book was to not be a pushover, and I mean that's something everyone learns in life.

I don't have any experience with women so I thought Models would help but it ended up not really talking to me about my situation or what can be done about it.

Great read, but the entire subject of the book has nothing to do with being attractive enough for women. At least I my experience.
