But, as someone who is desperate for female attention, you spend time and energy going over that insignificant event. That's because that's the most attention you've received from a female you like.

What you need to do right is accept the fact that most women are not for you, no matter what you do. Get clear on what you want and only deal with women who want the same thing. Then you'll realize that there's nothing wrong with women. They're simply women.

Women tease you to be playful but also to see how you react. If you are insecure/needy you might get defensive, aggressive, desperate, etc. They don't want that of course, teasing can be a good way to expose insecurities.

The same can be said for suddenly ignoring you. Will you get desperate and clingy reaching out to her asking "what happened"? Will you get angry at her for ignoring you? Will you get sad and lose confidence?

Maybe you're misreading the situation. You shouldn't be frustrated when it comes to this game. Girls can smell thirst on a guy from a mile away so when you look at her, don't look at her thirsty, look at her like you're sick of being so hydrated but you might take a sip if she's worthy.
