I was on a date with a guy, and we were sitting at a table in a bar when his ex suddenly showed up and sat down right next to him, as close as she could get without exactly sitting in his lap. She looked at me and ignored me the rest of the time while she talked to him in an intimate way, but of course loud enough that I could hear what she said.

He introduced us, but she kept on talking to him. I could see he was somewhat uncomfortable with the situation, but he didn't do anything, so after a while I said goodbye and didn't talk to him again. Not exactly a big loss, but a waste of time nonetheless.

I was living with a girl. It was amazing for awhile but the wheels came off. I was planning a way to get out. She had gotten flat-out cruel.

I knew she was cheating and thought, “What now?”

I did’t have to wait long. One night she mentioned this guy I suspected she was running around with. She told me had proposed and she had accepted.

As weird as that sounds, the breakup was not unexpected. It was the heartless way she went about it; no, “We have to talk” or, “I’m so sorry, I never expected this.”

It was, “Matt asked me to marry him. I said, “Yes”. As unemotionally. as if she were changing the sheets.

I moved out the next morning. That was a long time ago. Her callousness and lack of any attempt to end it with the slightest gesture of compassion remains the most heartless thing I have ever experienced.

But here’s the strangest thing of all. It was so hard-hearted, the way she went about it, actually blunted how bad I felt. I was over it in a few weeks.

I was speaking with a girl online about 14 years ago (plenty of fish - dating cesspool) before the time of dating apps.

We met. Started to walk.. and she walked into the nearest McDonald's toilet and text me from the toilet telling me to go home and that she wasn't up for it.

They're not usually that bad. Most appraoches for me are just a girl looking at me like i'm on fire with a kind of 'ewww...you're NOT my type. Stop talking to me' kind of reaction (and if you try to plow a bit with some pushpull etc, she just kind of ignores you or say she's not interested etc. Not too bad)

AlthoughI remember a girl who I thought was giving me IOIs on the dancefloor pushed me super hard when I approached her!! lmao.

But i remember I said hey asked for her name she kept walking and she said to come closer while still walking full speed and then she started ignoring me

Her friend was like “why you did that boy like that” laughing

My goofy ass walked a good ways away from my friends just for her to do that, she said something else that really irked me but I forgot this was like 6 years back but i remember I felt so disrespected I felt the anger and shame in my stomach
