He messaged us first (he sent a more personal message to the mods asking about how to do an AMA). I responded and basically said, "Alright, we're open for (this date) and (this other date), if you want to get involved." So he picked out a date and said he'd be down for it, and I basically just confirmed it.

But you're kinda right for other AMAs though. I've been trying to get in touch with various people who wouldn't know anything about reddit- it's harder to get their attention, but generally easier to communicate with them once they understand that reddit is a huge site. We'll be getting Mystery, Juggler, Gambler, Tyler, and a few other guys in the near future. It's actually pretty easy (as a mod) to get these guys because a lot of them already know about reddit. Some guys don't know about reddit, so then I just tell them I'm a mod of our site, and they automatically focus more on us since I mentioned it).

Like sardonicsheep kinda said, most of his stuff is tailored to guys who don't have the balls to approach in the first place. And he kinda shows how to grab your balls and make shit happen.

I watched the 21Convention video before, and from what I remember, it was good shit- but it was still mainly about approaching. I haven't seen much from him that goes beyond that and delves deeper (but I think that's partly because it's hard to find free youtube videos for that sort of thing- unless it's Blueprint Decoded).

But I'm pretty positive he knows what he's doing, and knows how to go beyond that initial meeting. Those would be good questions to ask him. If he was really Mystery's first wingman, obviously he knows a lot about Mystery Method and can talk about other "stages" of seduction.

Plus you also gotta just watch how he works. I haven't watched too many of his "in-field" stuff, but from the 21Convention video itself, he strikes me as a Ben Affleck-type. Really talkative, pretty spontaneous, more laid-back (as far as his mindset is concerned), and really confident overall. So if he can show all that shit in a 2-minute interaction, that can make a huge difference. Girls will be more likely to call him back and shit, simply because of how his mindset works and all the little unquantifiable shit he does in an approach. If you approach with a shit-ton of confidence (even cockiness) in a joking manner, you're gonna be more likely to make an impression on the girl and get a call back. If you just go through the motions and only focus on getting that number, you won't have as much success.

Yep, exactly. I'm not too familiar with him, but that's exactly the same conclusion I got from him. Not only that, but you can tell the guy is super confident (in most cases), so he obviously knows how to deal with shit. It doesn't really matter what other people have said about it.

I'm trying to get an interview with Sasha Grey right now since people seem to be interested. It's the same shit. I don't want to show too much interest on either side, but I want to make it clear to her (and her assistants) that we'll give her good shit (that she can profit from). At no point am I trying to misrepresent shit, and going along with that same point, I still expect people to see supportive ideas and I want them to believe their child will go through the same shit.

If the kid doesn't do that, and does some crazy shit, we'll account for that. I already made it clear to these guys that we don't really care about insignificant shit. I still believe that Sasha Grey is a good person in general, and I won't allow anything here that says otherwise (unless you give a really good explanation for why that is). I think she's awesome as fuck (and the Entourage episodes support that), and I really hope she'll come here and give a decent overview of how shit works.

Entourage is actually (IMO) a really good show compared to anything you'll find on basic cable. Compared to other HBO/Showtime series, it's nothing special, but the writing and characters are better than almost any writing/characters on a more "standard" show. IMO it's comparable to Mad Men- the actors are all great, but you might not appreciate the plot depending on what you're into. It can be really slow at times, but if you're really interested in the character, that doesn't matter- you're focused on what happens to them and don't really care if the action/dialogue is slow. Same thing for Breaking Bad, and especially Californication/Boardwalk Empire/some of the other shows on HBO and Showtime.

Sasha Grey has basically no influence on the community unless she can provide some decent insight from her POV (most girls can't really do that). But since people asked for her, I'm gonna try to see if we can get an interview from her. Realistically though, she probably doesn't have too much to offer.

I feel the exact same way. I frankly don't give a shit about anything she might say about approaching or other basic shit like that- the only thing I'd care about is what she says about LMR and other blatantly sexual shit- like, it'd be cool to see how she responds to various different "openers" depending on how "open" they are.

Anything beyond that is just masturbation and it doesn't really matter what she says. It'd still be cool (for the mods, at least) to have her as a guest, just to show that we can do that. I'd also like to get Mystery, Tyler Durden, and some of the other more prominent guys, just because it'd be cool to have them on here. I know we'll get Mystery and Tyler in the coming weeks (based on what I've heard from people), but I'd like to do even better than that. I want to get guys like Tim from RSD and other guys who are more "unapproachable."

Solid attraction is definitely possible in 45 seconds. If that wasn't the case, the HB8.5 number close I pulled last week wouldn't have turned into an f-close a few nights ago. The method I'm talking about is very direct. It's basically what Paul Janka and some of the most confident naturals run. Simple Pickup has a similar style, but they like to stay in set a bit longer and focus on humor during sets. You're playing into every girl's fantasy of meeting that dashing, well-dressed man on the sidewalk. Actually, the longer you stay in the set after a minute or two, the more likely you are to fuck it up. This doesn't work well in bars or clubs though, from my experience. During the day time, I can't think of a more effective method.

With the above described, it is HIGH risk, HIGH reward. You have to be very comfortable with rejection. 10 approaches will usually equate to 7 numbers. 7 numbers will boil down to about 4 dates. 4 dates lead to 2 or 3 k-closes. Out of those, about 1 f-close. But if you're pulling 10 numbers in a day, that ain't bad.

I dunno exactly how much time you spend in sets but I usually spend between 2-15 minutes if I'm going for lots of numbers. Sure some of them will lead to nothing, but still I'd say half of them lead to a date. And almost 100% of the girls that are willing to go on a date are also dtf.

I released a transparency report last week (http://www.tokyo-pickup.com/articles/transparency-report.php) with some stats in it from this method. Ended up getting 9 numbers in one night and banged 6 of them in the end. 2 of them that lead to nothing I only spent a few minutes on. The last one was a pickup on the train ride home, and I'm still chatting with her, have yet to setup a date though. And a couple of the ones I banged I only talked to for a few minutes.

With that said, went out again this month with friends. I wasn't going for spam this time because I have a busy schedule this month, but I talked with two girls for a fair amount of time (30 minutes or more each). I was on fire and even had chicks approaching me, but the two numbers I got both lead to nothing. Sometimes wierd shit just happens I guess ~

"Extremely interesting. I share your experience in this field, I can not remember when was the last time I went on a date with no sex at some point." - This is the culmination of going on thousands of dates and fine tuning my approach each time to the point where the only way failure is possible is if there are variables outside of my control. Don't get the 100% wrong though, not 100% of first dates end as lays, but nearly 100% of girls who go on a first date will eventually lead to sex if I put the work in. Most can be done in 1-3 dates, occassionally 4. I usually don't go beyond 3 dates though unless I'm really interested in her.

The biggest help for me getting these results is the baby steps approach that I take. I feel their boundaries out (usually through slow ramp kino) on the date and I know when I can take things all the way and when I have to save it for next time.

Tbh, I don't worry about flakes usually. I will ping girls every now and then to see if I can recover to a date but I don't do anything special. Usually I just forget about them (literally) because there are so many other options and they just fall off my radar. It's much easier to focus on the girls that are definitely into you.

Atm I have three girl's in semi-flake zone that I want to bang, all damn near perfect 10's. Tried your tactic on one of them, got a response and trying to setup a date now. Another one asked me out on a date after 2 months of occassional texting. Nothing special in the messages, just stupid shoot the shit type stuff. Third one is more bubbly and responsive. We've been exchanging occassional texts for almost 2 months now, supposed to setup a date soon (not crossing any fingers here)...

And yes I'm in Japan. For texting Japanese girls I usually don't try to get clever because there is a large chance they will just misunderstand or misinterpret any kind of joke or cockiness. There are small cultural differences but being in Japan helps my success rates because of:
