Honestly dude this is when you just start having fun with it. This person is either boring or nervous, so usually when it takes this turn is when I start getting more bold and asking more intimate questions, or just skewing the conversation my way. One philosophy I like is “fuck it, this is MY DATE now, and I’m making sure I’m having fun lol”

I brought a Polaroid camera to a date once, and she was kinda the same, very quiet and not too bubbly. I made her do some ridiculous poses in front of all the stuff we walked by 😂 still had fun and I basically got a free model at the end of it

First problem is OLD it's pretty much a shot in the dark, second problem if these girls are not initiating conversation during your dates then these are girls you shouldn't be wasting time on, focus on meeting women that care enough to want to talk to you

Just had this happen too. I hard carried that conversation, girl had the personality of a decomposing trout.

I basically just gave up half way through and started talking about my shit after she answered as if she had asked a question to continue the conversation.

Ask your date what their passion is and then just let them unleash. People love to talk about their passion and feel good doing so.....bonus, they will associate the positive feelings they have from talking about their passion with the person they're looking at (you) and it doesn't take much to keep the conversation going during any lull

"So what is it about passion that you like?" "What does it feel like when you're doing passion?" "How did you get in to passion ?"

So many variables here. was she very interesting and curious about you before the date? She may just interested in a free meal / drink.

I had one date like yours and it turned out afterwards, she asked to go out again. i declined, and explained why (because she asked for feedback) she then explained she was really really anxious / nervous cause she had not been on a date in a long time and was just in her head the whole time. hard for us to answer but maybe if you ask for some feedback afterwards they will share why they were absent minded.

Some people are just boring though. vetting them before going on the date is a skill in itself. Getting someone talking about things that interest them helps.

Sometimes as attractiveness goes up, personality goes down.

Speaking from experience, keep your first dates short. That way you're not sitting around with dead silence. Some girls are shy and some are just plain not interested. Some may even be going on that date for a free meal or drink

Honestly I think we try to force things too often. Of course if you want to “secuce” you need to make this topic and use tactics but honestly. If it doesn’t flow there’s nothing wrong with you two not being a great fit. Maybe she is uncomfortable and you can address that. “Hey you don’t seem to say much everything alright?” It can spark a whole new topic and maybe she is just not that interesting.

In my experience this basically means that you don’t interest them. Not to say that you’re doing something wrong, it’s purely a “them” issue. So try to find something to do or say to grab their attention. If nothing works then just move onto the next.

If the vibe is off, don't force it. Just means you are not compatible.

Most likely case is they lost interest once you guys met up (perhaps you did catfish them or something in your behavior turned them off). There are times where I lost interest in a date and just wanted it to be over so I didn't really make any more effort to talk.

Overall, you should avoid just asking questions and also making observations/comments/opinions of your own. But at a bare minimum, a date should be engaged and actively participating in the conversation.

I've met girls that were shy and nervous around me but they were still participating in the conversation. These girls are likely not it.

If this happened twice recently, it most likely might be due to catfishing or your behavior.

Assume she’s nervous. She’s on the date? She must be attracted. Take the lead.

Easier said than done when you’re maybe feeling nervous yourself.

You’ll gradually get better at dealing with these situations. Just need more reps.

Women on the apps are absolutely slammed with options so unfortunately if you want best results you do have to carry the conversation at first. Not only does that include asking her questions but also talking about yourself. She needs to know enough about you to invest in you enough to even care to ask a question. With that said this isn't an excuse to be super needy.
