I have been thinking about this question for a while. When have I ever had approach anxiety?
This question has been driving me insane for the last week or so.

I went back to my childhood. I grew up with five siblings at home, played football (soccer), played in the school band, and run for the school. I was always with people, mostly males when I was young.

I come from a very social family, and I love talking to strangers everywhere.
When I started trying to meet girls, I never had any issues introducing myself ,no gimmicks, just getting to know them, of course, in an appropriate way.

Now that I am older, I can speak to any woman without ever thinking about rejection. It’s like it’s not even in my dictionary.

Is this normal? It’s driving me crazy when I think about myself. I’ve noticed a lot of people here have anxiety about approaching women.

In my childhood, I spent more time outside the home than at home, maybe this made me comfortable interacting with strangers.

What makes you anxious about approaching a woman in a social environment (bar, restaurant, beach, etc.)?
