Boys...look...listen...women want you to be vulnerable AND be strong. Just be in touch with your emotions enough to express them in an adult manner during a conversation. You cant control how someone is. Women will be hot and cold because of their emotions. You have to understand when the right time is to be vulnerable with them. Similar to reading the room,

If she says she is mad and still in the room around you, this is where you open her up if she is an adult about it.

The advice you get isnt even clear. Im from the oldschool and believe that you should be a stoic invulnerable rock. Apparently newer guys are teaching to be more authentic about it, and "own" your vulnerability or whatever. IMO the science is not settled here. You just have to experiment for yourself and report back.

You prob don't have a group of men, or at least one male friend with whom you can talk about your problems. Everyone has obstacles, but as a man you want to discuss these things with other men and not be dumping things onto women.

A woman doesn’t want you to be vulnerable. She wants you to lead. The fact that she says she wants a connection basically means she wants you to play with her emotions. That’s how she experiences connection.

Also extra bonus points if she’s the only one who you show a bit of emotion. Then she feels she’s special to you.

But never ever go completely open and vulnerable, that shit never leads anywhere if you want to f*ck her brains out.
