Is it wrong that I'm not attracted to overweight men? Average, ripped, skinny - I'm fine with all of them, but as soon as a young man has unneccesary amount of fat on him, I'm physically unable to feel sexual attraction. Like, in their early 20s their're supposed to have fast metabolism and easily gain muscles - they're supposed to have a fairly lean body even if they don't work out. Obesity for a man at such an age either means that he's addicted to beer and chips or eats out of boredom (unless it's caused by a health condition ofc).
Obesity for anyone is a huge red flag for me. It's a sign to the world that someone has poor self-control, and is incapable of fixing their own mistakes.
On top of that, I have a lot of active hobbies, and it you're 50kg overweight, we're probably not doing any serious hiking together, we're not going mountainbiking, or climbing, etc etc.
There are many reasons someone can be obese or have extra weight on them and it doesn't automatically equal a personality flaw.
Considering I live in one of the many countries where both diet advice and therapy (both for food, and for mental health) fall under our free healthcare, I tend to disagree. If you're over 30 and obese, then that's basically saying you don't care enough to fix it.
And while that not-caring may be caused by external factors, the vast majority of those factor are also red flags in themselves.
I 100% agree that being obese doesn't make you a bad person and is not a moral failing. But it does 100% signal you as someone with whom I will not start a romantic relationship. And it's very unlikely we'll have any other kind of relationship either.
My go to response when less attractive men get too cocky & try to neg me is to laugh and neg them back or just name what they're doing 'what's with the negs, do you need to see a therapist? Are you feeling ok'
Let them know you're aware of what they're doing & where its coming from.
They look dumbfounded everytime bc they expect you to fly into a pickmeisha rage all hurt & offended. They target your looks bc that's all they value women on & they assume a womans confidence/ self esteem can only come from her looks. They're telling on themselves when they neg you.
Like for example....a short cocky guy says he'd prefer if you were thicker bc he has a complex about his height. Say you would prefer he grew a few inches too. Hit him where it hurts so he thinks twice about doing that again. Let him know you have eyes too.
Yes you could say that's childish....but so many of these deluded cocky men are not used to getting a taste of their own medicine & being confronted that they carry on doing it. A lot of them need the reality check.
