Some well-intentioned (I guess) early teen boy decided to have a purple pill debate style intervention for "both sides" so that FDS and TRP could have a high school debate, clear the air and come to some kind of agreement. So he made a chat channel and invited a ton of people from both subs. He just expected us to .. start debating and see the error of our collective ways? It was weird.

Oh man I have to laugh because something like this happened to me ages ago. They named it something like “feminist chat” too, but see, they aren’t very bright. The names were not only clearly men, but were super obvious troll incel names like “womenarehoes” “FDSroasties”, names containing porn references and stuff like that.

These dudes just have no finesse! No game! Just like in real life, they half-ass and go lazy, trolling just like they date. They couldn’t even try to not make it super obvious.

I had someone scroll back to my one post in another sub where I commented how the persons fireplace bookshelf was cute. They commented “oh you wouldn’t like it, a man made it” or something stupid. I went back to the post and there’s no indication of gender. For all they know a woman made it. They scrolled back so far in my history to make one snarky comment. Probably trying to stalk me for identifying info.

Don’t trust any men on Reddit. I’m considering changing to an alt account even though I made this one for FDS. It’s about time for a new account.

I got a group chat request recently too (not called feminism chat though). I looked at the users and they were either very new accounts only a few hours old with no history, or accounts that had zero previous interaction with FDS or similar subs and it was not clear what their gender was. FDS is the only sub I’m a part of with this acc so it seemed targeted / suspicious

I highly, highly support the idea of having an account ONLY for FDS and then blocking all DMs and chat requests. it's the only way.
