Honestly, it's like they want to make men completely repulsed by the idea of being in a relationship with a woman. Unfair divorce and family courts, common law marriage, metoo, putting down men as if they were trash both in person and on social media, and now calling to basically Big Brother them when a break up happens. They do, though. And they talk to the people around you, they try to control peoples' opinions of you. It's all part of their narcissism. In fact, this most likely began before you broke up. Even while you were supporting them, with a blindly positive bias, they were rationalizing mistreating and eventually abandoning you, to their friends, and possibly even your friends.

Don't get sucked into a shit-flinging contest. It only makes you look like the bad guy. Just outshine whatever they are saying about you, with positive actions. All of this shit is insecurity from their abuse of power, and violation of your trust. They know they've fucked you over emotionally, for petty-ass 'reasons', because they've been afforded the social luxury of whimsy, and they are simply paranoid about the other shoe dropping. They spend their whole lives running from bad karma, and at best being driven by transferrence to do random acts of kindness.
