Discussing double standards is necessary. It has a direct impact on men and their rights.

I also understand the dislike of these topics, but just talking only about how much you dislike these things cannot and should not be all this sub is about. We do this so much it borderlines on hate and will eventually make us that which we dislike.

We should be here to support each other. We should continue to point out flaws in the system, but generalization and blanket dislike is pointless.

I think you have a bit of a point, but frankly with how much feminist organizations directly oppose any semblance of men's advocacy, it's hard to just ignore their role in the discussion.

An(imperfect) analogy would be if I was building a sand castle next to you on the beach, but every time I start expanding it you come kick it over, then tell me if I want my sand castle I need to build it myself, and I can't get angry with you over it.

Many feminist organizations lose their shit when men's issues start getting any traction socially, and at least here in Canada it's basically political suicide to be even peripherally associated with it.

Double standards that treat men unfairly are the very definition of a men's rights issue. I'm glad posters have exposed the unequal treatment men are getting and I hope they continue to do so.
