No.

Neither gender can survive or thrive without the other, so designating one gender as "superior" is a bit silly. And men & women are, considered over all traits, more similar than different.

Qualifiers:

Men have more "shallow" or wider variance IQs - which is why more insights important to intellectual progress tend to be made by men, and why men tend to take on low-status, high-risk jobs. I don't expect "gender-parity" in either of these areas to be reached ever.

Physical dimorphism, obviously. Which makes men by default "protectors" - this dynamic will always exist as a dynamic in romantic relationships, and should be recognized & appreciated IMO.

Men & women socialize differently in task-based environments, but both of these dimensions are important facets of task-based socialization ("hierarchy" & "consensus").

Mothers & children were once the same person. A father's job is to foster healthy psychological boundaries in the child as they grow up.

First- This question is far too simple to be useful in any context. I have a bunch of answers, but to the one you want-

Overall: yes- this means completely generalized, in my personal opinion and according to my personal needs for the average person I may interact with. Competence is a draw but in general if men are physically stronger and rely more on rational thought and reason then for those two attributes alone they are more valuable to me than women.

HOWEVER

Individually, there are a great many women that are better than men at different things. In general there are things that women are better than men at because of their physiologies as well as physical and socialized differences in how they think/values.

my friend and I were talking the other day about this and how women are obviously superior because they do not need men to survive. If all men died tomorrow the amount of sperm in your average sperm bank would suffice to continue the population. Only a few males would be needed every generation until they reach puberty and can be harvested. I would imagine this dystopian scenario would have a lot less violence, too. So yay, obviously, in terms of one sex continuing without the other.

A couple other factors I think are interesting: men are stronger than women, especially when it comes to upper body strength, but both sexes have gotten immensely stronger over the last centuries. As nutrition and health improves humans will likely get taller and stronger. Women outperform men in extreme endurance tests, likely due to their metabolism and energy storage. I don't think women are less/more logical than men, and I've usually preferred working under female bosses. They never took any shit, but they were always open to feedback and suggestions. Of course, this is just anecdotal. Also I remember reading a study that looked at IQ disparities between the sexes. What was originally thought to be men's greater intelligence disappeared when the study controlled for height. The taller you are, the more likely you are smart- most likely because you have benefited from a healthy diet with no scarcity and no horrible illnesses during childhood, both of which can stunt physical and mental growth.

I think the obvious choice here is that men and women are equal in that they are all human beings with autonomy and agency and the capacity for amazing feats. On average men have more upper body strength and women are more flexible but basing any sense of superiority on these things undermines every strong woman or stretchy man that has ever pushed themselves to the limit of greatness. And I do wholeheartedly believe that there are more differences within groups than between them. People are people, they come in all shapes and sizes, and if you ever start thinking you're superior it's probably just your own personal bias.

Sort of like comparing cats and dogs. Neither is flat out "superior" in a holistic sense. They might be superior on specific traits. The question of which specific traits matter more is another contentious subject.

I think men are physically bigger and stronger on average, and that that the intersexual difference actually matters a lot, despite all the claims the differences within genders is greater than one cross gender. Last time I calculated, something like 90% of women are under average male height.

While this is much more abstract of a subject, when it comes to risk assessment, I personally think women are superior. On average they make safer investors and don't take as many unnecessary risks as men. Maybe it's biological or maybe it's learned behaviour, but men more often act like they're invincible, leading to stupidity like friends getting mugged even though they could have easily taken steps to avoid it or my father waiting till the very last minute to get checked for his cancer.

Overall, they are equal. So no. It some ways each gender has its strengths. Decisiveness and risk taking might be some, and doesn't imply superiority either. I think the CEO/COO dynamic is another good analogy for relationships.

Edit: To elaborate, COO runs the company day to day, and makes the decisions to keep the company on course. The CEO decides the course. COO has also made the choice and agrees that that course is a good one and is comfortable helping to fulfill it.

This is just a bad question because of its simplicity. That said, the answer would be yes. Physically, and mentally it is definitely yes. In terms of intelligence, the mean IQ is the same as women, but the standard deviation is higher for men, so there are men that are superior in terms of intelligence compared to women.

Look around you and look at the world. The richest people in the world are by and large men. Most politicians are men. Every president we've had so far (in the U.S.) have been men.

A society without either gender would be bad. If we had no women, then men would invent sex robots to keep them selves happy and just make up for the lost work that women provide. If there were no men, there would be chaos because many of those women are incapable of doing the jobs that men do (engineers, doctors, businessmen, executives, businessmen, etc.)

Yes. And I'm not even red pill. But there are no good answers to bad questions. And this is a terrible question. Firstly because in the context of the sub we are talking about dating and relationships and that's mostly one specific man to one specific woman. Averages are worthless in here. trabant00 and Bill Gates are worth on average... Secondly, being superior or inferior is a question of result. But gender issues should strive for equal opportunity, not equal result. Thirdly there's the nature vs nurture problem. Maybe I could come up with more reasons if I think for a bit, but those 3 are more than enough to make this worthless. But then again this is exactly the type of question one would expect from a woman.

In the way men are valuable, as the drivers of growth, the risk-takers, the maintainers and builders of civilization, men are superior.

In the way women are valuable, as the mothers and nurturers of family and civilization and the binders and stabilizers of society, women are superior.

They are both pretty useless on their own though. The interplay of the genders is essential to both of their interests.

In any case, I think its a really simplified question and it really is going to get simplified and meaningless answers. Red pill does not approach any specific topic with a "are women better or men?" That usually is a completely separate case-by-case judgement that arises from honest discussion, and if we simply must have a tally, it swings both ways on different issues.

In any case your groups average doesn't have to represent an individual. One female might be smarter than 99.9% of males and vice versa no matter what the std. is.

No, both are equal. But in the worlds of individuals this may not be the case. In my world i get more life satisfaction from the women in my life especially my mother and sister. I have a lot of female friends and really appreciated some amazing women. In another persons world they might care more for their dad, mates and other male positions in their life. Therefore for them men can be seen as superior in their world and that would be 100& true for them. But i prefer being a woman myself and prefer a longer life then to burn bright on manual tasks and wear out. Others may prefer differently.

Until you give a qualifier, this is a loaded question.

Lifting heavy things is much easier for me (as an average man) than it might be for your average woman. And while it's probably not a particularly pleasant experience for most women, I'm sure that I would have much more difficulty giving birth or breastfeeding than your average woman.

Yes and the opposite as well. It is my belief that men, as providers/hunters/historically "breadwinners" need to be superior in measurable ways. They do all the manual work. They are larger, faster, stronger, more logical and controlled, etc. In this way it is obvious that men are superior. Where does this lead women? They can't (typically) compete with men, so are they just the helpless, meek, substandard and inferior second gender? Of fucking course not. Women are the only ones who can tame (metaphorically speaking) men. They can't beat a man at his own game, so they conquer him in theirs.

Women are superior to men in this way. If left unchecked (I guess you could say, by a man acting blue pill), she can control him. Women are superior when it comes to using their looks to get what they want, opening people up emotionally, most often communicating, etc. Manipulating men and others basically.

The problem I find with the mentality of your typical and overzealous Red piller is that they fault women for playing their game the only way they can. Instead of hating and berating women for this, why don't they appreciate both genders for doing what they need to survive?

Tl; dr: yes and no. The world doesn't work in black and white. Both genders do what they can to survive, just as all species do. In this way, neither can be "more superior" because they both need each other.

Yes. Men are superior.

Physically speaking there is no doubt that men are the stronger, faster, more resilient gender.

Intellectually, men are overrall smarter and more creative.

And most social roles that women occupy today could essily be occupied by men almost just as effectively; the reverse is not true for women.

Spiritually speaking & as human beings capable of love hate etc women are just as valuable as men, but comparatively there's no contesy. I dont understand how women actually believe they are just as capable/equals to men. We're just better.
