I found this amazing, masculine, strong, responsible, ambitious, loving, protective, very attractive man. My problem is I've been becoming more pious, he's technically a christian orthodox who has the same goal as me (theosis, for the non christian/ortho here let's say "becoming the best version of oneself" for the sake of simplicity). However, he's not as pious as me, he has a relative view of morality whereas acting morally is very important to me, he doesn't see as much value as I do in the participation of the life of Christ with going to church and all.

I don't know what to do, I'm scared I have this idea of the "perfect man" but I don't know if he actually exists. This man does currently fulfill my spiritual needs as we talk philosophy, theology etc together but he doesn't read the Bible or theologians so Im scared that in the future we won't be able to exchange in a fulfilling manner on that topic. I'm scared to be with someone who doesn't value morality as much as I do but at the same time it is my personal journey. He told me he could become a practicing christian but I can't rely on possibilities. I always hear that if you don't have the same values with someone it's not going to work, I do think we have values in common but not these and it scares me. For now the issues around morality haven't caused practical problems or frictions but I'm thinking long term, differences in morality are probably gonna surface?

Can anyone help?
