AKA "slow suicide".

Whoever mentions these two activities as such is a complete extremist. As far as I've read TRP, none of the principles detail extremism as a good thing. We bash feminists because of this, and praise those who are more enlightened to know sex equality isn't sex entitlement.

If you want to play videogames on your basement, fuck, do it. If it's something that brings joy out of you, that challenges you to improve, why the fuck would you want to stop? It's when you spend the entire week living and breathing these shit that becomes a problem. But tell you what, if someone lived and breathed working out, running or whatever great physical activities, they'd fuck themselves as well.

And masturbation. God how many of you praise /r/nofap? What the flying fuck is wrong with you?? It's the same thing; extremism. When you want everyone to forget fapping and just hunt for pussy whenever you feel like makes you desperate. It's when you're desperate that the most common TRP mistakes appear; non-abundance mentality, lack of stoicism and self-control between others are much easier to appear under these circumstances.

But then you'll read this thread and realize I'm pro-fapping, pro-videogames and pro-procastrinate. No, I'm against everything that sets you back in your goals. In my book, masturbation is okay as long as it doesn't go in your way in pickups, spinning plates, and your sexual performance. Your mileage may vary, but if you're spinning close to 3 plates, and having sex with one of each every week, then taking one day to fap, specially after an hiatus between two of them, isn't going to hurt your balls.

And videogames: if your workout, diet, mind and rest are all fine, and there's only shit stuff to do in your weekends, why the fuck wouldn't you spend a night gaming? It's healthy for your wallet. This said, if you got the money, and need to work on your social skills, it's a setback.

All in all, it all comes to how you're doing your activities and which goals you have. Self-knowledge is essential to know that these things can be toxic in big amounts, just like junk food. But then, there are times where you're hungry as a lion, and there's a drive-through open and no healthy food available on your way home, and you're tired as fuck from workout/work/rough sex, and evaluating your diet macros and previous calorie deficits brings you to the notion that it won't hurt you that much. After all, you got one entire week ahead to burn those calories with extra 5 minutes in a treadmill for a week.

No harm done, you still got your goals straight. Extremist situations should be saved for extreme situations. I'd agree in a no-fap month if a guy has no plates, got some money saved and has a minimum of TRP knowledge/looks; I'd agree in no videogaming if there's a busy schedule ahead (you're obese, need to workout and have a job with bills to pay).
