She loses interest because nothing happens other than texting. It’s a classic mistake of guys who text thinking they are making progress when actual progress can only be made in person, going out kissing, having sex… etc not by talking forever.

In that case, you should text her from time to time. Send her 'value offering texts' which are great for building rapport, since they offer value and don't expect anything in return. For example, when you see something interesting, do something interesting, or think of something funny.

Then when you get an opportunity to meet, you should text again with an effort to meet up.

Texting isn't the purpose, it's a tool for you to meet. Don't fall into the trap of becoming her texting buddy.

It's a shit test. Just mirror her and pull all the way back also. It stems from you taking 5 hours to respond. She knows this was on purpose. She took a day I know, but she'll likely have a good justification in her head.

Next time....pull her up on the delay instead of being passive aggressive. This will knock out all these games. You really don't want to start fighting passively like this.

Girls know when you're doing weird shit and will do it back to you. Play stupid games and get stupid prizes.

This seems like a more modern problem, with no solution. There is no right or wrong answer. Damned if you, and damned if you don’t. There’s endless possibilities that’ll make you go crazy and feel like you’re trying to solve the da Vinci code of where things went wrong or tapered off. I agree with most of the advice on here that it’s probably best to put your focus elsewhere. When they do come back you’ll probably not even be interested in them anymore.

As soon as you start thinking in terms like “shit test”, “chasing”, and “pullback, you’re behind the power curve. You’re filtering everything through pickup theory, and insofar as theories go, it’s far from rock solid.

There was a time when you left a message on an answering machine. If you didn’t hear back, you tried again.

A landline or cell was all you needed. They gave you instant feedback. You knew where you stood. Now texting is the weapon of choice, and from where I sit, it sucks. But this is 90% of “game” today. It makes a guy completely reactive: text, wait, ruminate.

Yeah. If you have her phone number call. You’ll know one way or the other.
