Ok first thing first, I'm a 24 year old virgin, haven't had any long lasting relationships, and don't have much experience with girls in general. I'd say this was the worst and most painful foray into a relationship that I will ever have.

Lets start, so I meet this girl at my college. I don't really know how to pick up chicks, but I can tell that she obviously digs me. We go out on a date or two, she kisses me first, and I mistakenly ask her to be my girlfriend. We spend most of our time together making out and messing around, but nothing past second base. Although it seemed that she enjoyed our time together, after a few days she broke up with me because I was too clingy and our time together ruined her attraction towards me. she tells me i'm like a high schooler acting out all the new sensations of a physical relationship. iattribute this to a lack of physical boundaries.

Anyways, we agree to give it some time and try again after a while. I was so in love with her though, that I hung on to any morsel of hope. After a bit of growing and soul searching on my part, I decide to ask her out again and start over, she agrees and I am overjoyed. unfortunately, this is where the story takes a turn for the worst.

She calls me up one day at work and tells me that her car got towed because of several outstanding parking tickets. Now she needs my help, she couldn't afford to get it back so I agree to help her as much as I can. I seriously thought I could prove myself in this situation, show her that I wasn't needy and I could be assertive in a relationship. But alas that didn't prove anything, she just wanted to be friends, she couldn't find the energy to be in a relationship now. She thought my helping her would make for an unbalanced relationship. Nevertheless, I persevered in this friendzone, hoping I can change her feelings towards me. I lent her money, let her borrow my car for work (sometimes at 2 am), took her out for dinner, bought her groceries, drove her to and from school, and treated her like any boyfriend would. I didn't realize I was being used, I hated it at times, but she would guilt me into staying with her, because supposedly without my help she would be homeless. She cut off ties with all of her family and friends for years. She kept telling me how everyone abandoned her and how she had to survive on her own.

It was all bullshit. She would have been fine without me, but she hated the long bus rides, wouldn't ask for help from her roommate, and lived in a condo way above her means! But I stuck through till the end of summer. If this experience taught me one thing, it was to stick up for myself, my beliefs, and my boundaries. When I realized that none of my beliefs, opinions, or boundaries were being respected, I knew I was being used. I knew I was not going to get what I wanted from her. I loved her and worshipped her and I was nothing but a humble servant to her.

So after I had a panic attack after dropping her off at work, I stopped offering my help and we gave each other some space (at least physical space). She trolled my Facebook though and I deleted her.

So after a long silence, I get the worst Facebook message I've ever received. In it, she tells me how much I infested her life, how she was never more afraid of being raped in her life. She accused me of blackmailing her into having sex with me for rides. Im a virgin and i only suggested that she be my first in a moment of insecurity (and because of her past experience with friends with benefits). She thought my friendly affections (hugs and such) were signals that I was going to rape her. She played the victim here and said something about me not respecting her as a woman. She even went on to compare me to her abusive racist stepfather. I haven't spoken to her since, but I know she has been spreading this shit to our mutual friends. All in all, my sex, not my personality, has led me to a rape accusation. Her warped view of feminism led her to believe that she couldn't be in a relationship that wasn't balanced, even though was commenced was more like a relationship than a friendship.

TL;DR- I got used by an ex girlfriend, helped her get to school when her car got towed, and was accused of trying to rape her even though I'm a virgin.

EDIT: Thanks for all the comments. I am doing better and dating a very nice girl. I wasn't really trying to fit this into an anti-feminist tirade, but rather share my story so i can start healing from the experience. I have a much better understanding of which women work for me and the ones that don't. I was passive, insecure, and went along with all of her feminist leanings. I believed myself to be a feminist, that my "maleness" was something wrong with me, that i could be "just" friends without any benefit to me. This experience has taught me that there is NOTHING wrong with sticking up for myself and my male desires.

EDIT 2: I also have a mild case of Asperger's Syndrome, which, I believe, really led me deep into this situation. I forgot to mention it before because i don't like to use it as a crutch. I'm sure many other aspies have been in this situation, we are often prone to being manipulated, especially when it comes to emotional things. I was almost convinced that my behavior and desires were abnormal, and since i'm always trying to become aware of my negative behavior, i took heed. So if anyone else who has Asperger's reads this, just know that your feelings, boundaries, and desires are IMPORTANT, don't let anyone tell you otherwise! we may have quirks and we may have to modify our social behavior from time to time, but don't just let one person tell you you're wrong. If 9/10 people think you're a cool, nice, and funny, don't listen and change for that last one person that doesn't think so!
