Actually, I'm pretty sure that if they were in America, a white supremacist group would have just as much right to put up posters in public as anyone else does, and it would be the people ripping them down that would get in trouble with the police. And don't use the line "the community doesn't want it so they don't have the right" because in many places that same logic would keep an atheist group from advertising their mere existence. You don't have to like someone or their ideas to recognize their rights.

But obviously this wasn't in America.

The bigger question would be, did these people have the right to put up their posters in the area, and/or were they suppressing another group's right to do the same in the process?

Atheism+ just seems to be SRS with a new name. Ignore it. It'll flounder as real atheists and skeptics disavow it. They'll see the hate, anger, and censorship that is indicative of most ideologies and pass it to the side as just another attempt to subvert reason with "religion".

I do believe this is vandalism and a confession to the crime. Police matter, they should handle it. I don't know John's contact info, but he should probably be informed. Maybe the person was short-sighted enough to tie the account they confessed on to something that traces back to them.

If it isn't vandalism the laws are either poorly written. If the police aren't handling it (and good laws are in place), they aren't doing their job.
