As an MRA and a brony, I can tell she didn't bother watching even the pilot to make her informed and qualified opinion. On the topic of race in non-human fiction - why does there need to be a correlation? The only racial stereotypes that come to mind are French ones, she is definitely, as Higher Entucation puts it, looking for something to be mad about.

The color you see is their fur, not their skin. I'm thinking this person has never looked at a dog/cat closely.

I dunno. I've found MLP-FIM to be mildly misandristic - and yes, I've watched the first two seasons. It's a fun show, and a pretty good one, but I have a couple of problems:

S1E7, "Dragonshy". Rainbow Dash physically attacks the Dragon, Dragon retaliates, and Fluttershy flies up and yells at it. The Dragon immediately cowers in fright. Fluttershy yells "What do you have to say for yourself?" and the Dragon replies meekly "She hit me," so Fluttershy yells back "That's no excuse!" - unspoken lesson: it's OK for girls to hit
Not only that, but dragons can easily be seen as the show's "male" to the pony "female" - S2E21 "Dragon Quest," all the dragons are Male and they're all, with Spike as the sole exception, horrible bullying monsters. In fact, with the exception of the baker husband pony, Big Macintosh, Snips & Snails, and Spike, there are no male characters that aren't bad. Unspoken lesson: men are all terrible.
S1E19, "A Dog and Pony Show". As another example of male badness, an all-male gang of mining Dogs kidnap Rarity to get her to magically find gems. She's a unicorn, with magic and everything, but her primary way to respond to the Dogs is to act like a spoiled child and, by doing so, is able to wrap the small-minded Dogs around her fingers. I couldn't even finish this episode. Unspoken lesson: it's OK to act like a little bitch to get what you want

This is ignoring my personal nitpicky problem with utilizing common tropes to easily describe the common male characters: Spike is a White Knight; Big Mac is the strong, silent older brother; Snips and Snails are school-age little snots, and Mr. Cake is a busy husband who co-owns a bakery with his wife.

(Secret sidebar: Mr. Cake is one of my favorite characters, from an MRA perspective, but even he is not immune to the subtle problems - S2E13, wherein the Cakes have twins, Mr. Cake makes some stuttering, nervous remarks about how he's distantly related to a unicorn and a pegasus, so it's OK that his twins are one of each while both of the Cakes are regular earth ponies. It's interesting how the show is insinuating that Mrs. Cake cheated on Mr. Cake, and he seems to know it and stays with Mrs. Cake anyway. I wonder if, in the MLP-FIM matriarchy, their divorce laws are in any way similar to ours...)

Generally, the show is good. It's got nice lessons, a colorful and diverse main cast (ignoring the racial aspect, because they're friggin' multicolored ponies, people), and is generally a really wholesome show. But some of the episodes have leave a really bad taste in my mouth afterwards :(

The new My Little Pony franchise is also dumb, and has been sexed up, as evidenced by the fact that young men now want to fuck the ponies. I do not let my daughters watch it. I don't mind that it exists, but I mind that it's marketed to children.
