"It's only fair that it forces the Men's right to choose" Ok, how about our right to "choose" whether we have to pay for a baby for the next 18 years of our lives. Oh, that's right, we shouldn't have had sex if we didn't want a baby. That's CLEARLY acceptable. Women should get their right to abort, just like men should get their own right to financially abort. What about bringing that one up. "It's her body so her choice" Well than why isn't it my body/wallet/time MY choice, instead of also HER choice?

IDK if are actually cluing in here, but this is to BAN vasectomies. They're trying to equate a woman no being able to have the ultimate pregnancy stop(abortion) with men not being able to have the ultimate pregnancy stop(no sperm in the semen). Sensational and Vindictive, which is the heart of modern politics.

I completely understand her anger over the people attempting to use legislation to govern women's control over their own bodies, and I completely agree with her on that aspect. As it is their health and bodies that are at risk, the choice of whether or not to have the child or have an abortion, lies solely with the female (of course this also brings up the financial abortion debate, which is for a different discussion).

So their we have, I completely understand and completely agree with her sentiment that a woman should never, ever be forced to have a child she doesn't want to no have, nor prevented from, or forced to have an abortion if she doesn't want one. However, this is NOT, NOT, NOT the way to get your point across. This is inconceivably disrespectful to all males, it is dripping with sexism and double standards, and should only serve to piss of male voters. I for one hope that she doesn't get re-elected.

She is using men as a springboard to call attention to the women's reproductive rights issue now at the fore of debate in the U.S.A. I doubt she really believes that men shouldn't be allowed control over the penises. While I don't like the tactic, it is important to see it for what it really is: a tactic.

It's sad that we've got women in congress that don't understand the principle even a child knows: two wrongs don't make a right. IMO the fact these two women went so far as to make these bullshit proposals should be grounds for booting them out of office. It's sexist, a waste of time and taxpayer dollars, and most importantly.... STUPID.

edit: apparently this isn't actually a real porposal or written up to be included anywhere. if that's true, then she's just dumb, but at least not a complete waste of taxpayer funds.
