This has been the biggest issue I've seen with this subreddit lately. This sort of homophobic "NOPE GAYS AREN'T IMPORTANT" nonsense that people seem to believe, or not believe. There are a few reasons why this is flawed. One, gay men are men. (As are trans men, but i'll stick with gay reference for now.) Two, acting like gay rights aren't important or relevant, and pardoning those who act in a homophobic manner, discredits the subreddit as a whole. We can't claim to be for egalitarianism and yet not believe in any sort of rights for LGBT people, that's preposterous. Three, I've noticed some suggested it's some sort of conspiracy by outsiders, especially feminists, to post LGBT info. Why exactly would they do this? How does this benefit them? Posting LGBT issues only benefits the Men's Rights movement by proving that it's egalitarian and supports all equal rights. If they are against men's rights activism and whatnot, they wouldn't do this sort of thing, it has no meaning.

Anyone believe otherwise, that LGBT rights aren't at all relevant to r/mensrights?
