That’s just not a good relationship AT all.

One person pointed out: “I mean she still has to pay the mortgage on the building. Rent in any apartment doesn’t just get pocketed it goes to taxes and mortgage.”

And a second left a comment which read: “You guys really think she pockets the money, as if she doesn’t have to give that money to pay mortgage, insurance and property tax.”

Those people are just idiots frankly. In essence it will go in her pocket. It’ll be called an asset. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Edit: changed the end from “does go/it’s called” to future tense so I’m not a “dimwit” about the mortgage. Didn’t think to be too technical since most people with mortgages are intending to fully own said property.

Does this man not know who he's paying rent to? Does he not ask for rent receipts? Does he just blindly hand over his money? What happens if you need a copy of the lease for anything?

Also what happens when something breaks and they have to call the landlord? This guy never saw a copy of the lease? Or anything like that?

He doesn't see letters from the bank in her name? He makes enough to pay for a home and he doesn't realize he's paying an entire mortgage worth of money?
