Yeah I do this to guys. Don’t make eye contact because I’m worried they will think I’m flirting with them and try not to be overtly friendly unless I’m working customer service or sales. I don’t think there’s anything necessarily wrong, as long as you aren’t going out of your way to make them feel bad or punish them etc

Something that helps me with my own misanthropy of people in general is that I got to remind myself that even though people may seem like they are better or have it together

Almost everyone especially young girls just like young boys have crazy immature, wild, and downright nonsensical beliefs and insecurities about themselves in the world around them

I remember giving a girl a compliment One Time by saying that she was cute in her reaction was so adorable but also very humbling and comforting

She literally gasped and said "but I'm not wearing makeup "

Something in that girl's life let her to believe that she was not attractive unless she was covered with makeup. Here I am a heterosexual male indicating to her that she has attractive features. And yet it was still dumbfounded on her because she believed that she was not attractive unless she had makeup

You can see right there there's an example of something that shouldn't be an insecurity. But we are all insecure and still have doubts.

I have beaten up grown men and I still feel like a little boy sometimes. You see the craziness?

To become better you gotta face that sh*t. Talk to women, flirt with women, make them smile, blush, look them in the eye.

It won't be easy at first but you become better unconsciously over time and you don't even know it. I was the same way, look at my previous post in the sub. I'm glad to say I'm not the same anymore.

Brother you can do it, I promise you can. It's in you already. Just go out and do it. I hope this helps. It's not going to be easy at first. But it will all work out in the end I promise. Just face it.

As long as you aren't going out of your way to be a jerk, then this isn't a terrible thing. At least in the sense that you're not bothering anyone. If it's your own mental health you're worried about or you feel as though you are suffering and want to get help, then I'd suggest a therapist to help reqire your thinking.

I’m kind of over it. This happens and I learn to not take anything personal. Anytime a woman ignores me after saying hi, or opening the door I simply keep it moving.

Some women find men dangerous because we’re scared that they will beat, rape or verbally abuse us if we look at them the wrong way or give them a false signal. Why are you afraid of looking at women? What do you find dangerous about us?

It sounds like therapy would help you greatly, especially because you are aware your beliefs are affecting your life (which is an amazing first step). Because this is irrational, it will always be there unless you tackle it with a specialist. I would love to hear how that goes for you if you decide it's the right step to take!

I'm with you, and I'm sure the women around you appreciate it. If they want your attention they'll let you know, if they want to flirt they will give you signs. It's a tough road to realize that women don't want all male attention, only select males. That short tight dress isn't for all men, just the one they want to see it.

Treat women as equals, with due respect, nothing more, nothing less. They have the harassment gun in their back pocket, locked and loaded with career ending bullets.

Did you have bad experiences with women in the past? That might be the cause of your avoidance of women.

Try asking yourself why you behave this way? See if you can trace when this behavious started. It might be further back or more recently.

Work on building up your self esteem by becoming good at something, learning useful skills, and whatever else you need to do to feel confident.

It sounds like you are a) scared of being judged or manipulated by women and b) resentful of not being desired by women even though you desire them, so being around them brings out your insecurities and frustrations.

I honestly think when you feel better about yourself, your negative feelings towards women will dissipate at least to some extent.
