Congrats. You get it. I have a personal issue with this. To me, it seems like the reason is that men are taught their only purpose is to compete with each other for things like power and sex. So when you set up sex as a goal in a competiton, but the sex can come from varying sources. The tendency is going to be to rank the sources and then every guy will attempt to get the ones "at the top" in order to fullfil this made up role of constant competition.

So, in my view, the reason is that they're too engrossed in this shitty competition to stop and try to figure what they want or what would be good for them.

But this is just from one person's observations so feel free to ignore it.

A lot of RPers often say that they want women that ”aren’t combative” yet those are often the types of women they seek out, whether it be consciously or subconsciously. The amount of men I’ve had complaining about their naggy and bitchy women to me that still continue to go back to them or continue dating the same type of is astounding. That meek energy is usually not present around women that aren’t like that. Heck, I’ve seen stunning women get turned down by men because they’re shy and not ”exciting” enough like that. So yeah, thrill-seekers exist on both sides.

Being ex-redpill I have noticed, that redpill seems to brainwash you, that you're looking for most attractive women, not the one who will reciprocate your feelings. All redpill always repeats like mantra is how you must strive to get "the best women", but it does not say anything about satisfied and happy relationship, instead it pushes you toward "facade", when both of you in relationship pretend to be non-committed. From 2 last years of observation I can honestly say redpill teaches you how to create perfect illusion of relationship based on sex and power, but not love and compassion. I found out, that this is the best way to ruin your life and dehumanize women and yourself. I'm 20 and I have two or three female friends, who brings more joy into my life than any ex girlfriend I had. They've shown me a lot of emapthy and compassion, what cured me from redpill and helped me to back on right path.

This is a big problem for me in trying to navigate RP, too. Even if you boys find your perfect unicorn 20-yr-old virgin, she could still pull the whole cheating/divorce rape/child custody trifecta. A woman who marries in her early 20s in her prime can still be cheated on and abandoned by a man who ended up lower value than he seemed at the time, and she could be out on her butt divorced "post-wall" even though she did everything right. Then what? It's like there's no room for nuance or individual variation...it's almost like people aren't people, just faceless archetypes slotted into a "pick your adventure" game.

I was a nerd throughout highschool and although I didn't look worse than the girls in my school I was never chased, they were b*tchy and mean. When I was 19 I met my now husband who was sick of dating mean girls but his ex fit the exact description of a monkey branching, CC riding Stacey, but he said he missed the attraction that manipulation and mistreatment caused. We're in a traditional relationship now and he's sort of detoxed the desire for bad girl behavior, because he noticed getting sex without having to fight for it, going to sleep knowing that he's the only man I've slept with and will ever sleep with, having a tidy house and eating a warm meal three times a day is a better lifestyle.

But that's the thing - the good female friends I had were all the same. Chaste, well behaved, modest - they agreed that they didn't experience men chasing them, rather taking their kindness as some sort of sign for lower value, or were negatively perplexed by it.

They have a false view of dating and reality. They want a 22 year old virgin who "Hasn't been used up by Chad and Tyrone" but they themselves sleep with tons of women, and bash single mothers, it's stupid dumb and cringey.

Men are just as guilty of doing this too, they ignore the cute, sweet, nerdy, bookish introverted alternative girls in school, and go after the popular, sometimes airheaded extroverted hot girls in school too, and then complain where are the good ladies at.

I feel like it's cause redpill views your women and sex life as validation that you're "alpha". The concept is women are attracted to manly men, and if you exhibit the traits they mention, you will get girls, and the higher quantity/quality that's more proof that you're alpha. It's bullshit in my opinion since there's plenty of dudes with a plethora of women but are still bums at the end of the day. They just prioritize women/sex over their responsibilities.

Personally I think the most alpha shit you can do is find a girl that you're really into (she doesn't have to the baddest chick either), be yourself and show her you can lead, and build with her from there.

The irony is that women tend to be attracted to men who are able to validate themselves and are able to be happy even if they go a whole year without dating or sex because there are other things that he values and make him happy. There is an unmistakable look of relief whenever women find that you're passionate about things that don't have to do with women. You're learning languages, you're setting and achieving health goals, you're mastering a craft or art, you're spending time to improve your community. These things signal to women that even if she rejects you, you're still going to be validated by the things you've built in your life. Thats true confidence.

I am not RP but from my understanding. Typically… not always but typically men are attracted to young, attractive women and the reasons for that is younger women are usually more fertile and “attractiveness” is usually an indicator of good health (evolutionary wise)

The thing is this: Most people are full of shit, women included. Most people lie and cheat and they all come with a truckload of emotional baggage.

When you come to terms with this reality, you eventually realize that aiming to find people of genuinely good character is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. You eventually accept that people are shitty - and if you have to date a shitty person she should at least be hot.

That does not mean genuinely great people don't exist - in fact, they do - they are just super rare. Building your dating life around finding those people is not a sustainable strategy as a man.It would be like building your financial future on eventually winning the lottery.
