Haaaahahahaha. Having a place of your own with no roommates is a firm standard for me. I had a guy ask me out once, to come over to his house to hang with him and his 6-7 roommates. He’s 35 years old. I noped so hard out of that realm of possibility. If you don’t have your shit together enough to have your own place you manage and take care of and pay for, the same way I do, I predict EASILY to be the one doing all of that in the future. No thank you.

While many of us have had experiences that relate to these sentiments, I'd like to see fewer posts in this format (screenshot of Twitter/OLD with minimal commentary). Because the source is hard to verify/easy to fabricate, it makes the sub susceptible to astroturfing by male lurkers. Even if they can't post, they can upvote dubious/apocryphal/lower quality content which shifts the subs focus away from more substantial topics and strategy.

Perhaps there's a way to designate scheduled threads for content like this to reduce the influence of bad actors. i.e. a bunch of trolls can upvote brigade a bunch of individual threads on the sub, but their influence is mitigated if all image posts are contained in one thread. At least then newcomers to the sub won't see a bunch of screenshots/memes first and think that's the essence of FDS.
