The article states: ”Pregnant women in the United States die by homicide more often than they die of pregnancy-related causes — and they're frequently killed by a partner”.

I do not understand why this has not been brought to the public’s attention before — the connection between pregnancy and homicide has long been recognized by FDS.

For POC women, the risks of dying by homicide are much, much higher, even if we take pregnancy out of the equation — that is why FDS tells women to be extremely careful while dating men.

Your life literally depends on dropping any man who displays inconsistency, as well as orange, or red flags.

Not sure why this isn’t viewed as a heinous hate crime epidemic, which it is. Feels like women’s lives just don’t count as much.
