Sabotaging female progress and success in order to push mediocre males forward starts in early childhood. Little girls are used like resources and surrounded with those who drag them down rather than equals or those who provide an even superior example.

Yea.. wtf I was always sat next to the most deplorable boys in elementary school because I was a well behaved good student... My reward for my good behavior was these boys rubbing my stationery on their genitals 🙃
I was so used to this all throughout elementary school I didnt even think to tell my parents about it or ask to change seats :')

Omg, what is up with them doing that?!?! Lol, I was remembering to myself how boys would steal my pencils and then stuff them in their boxers!!! It's actually a widespread thing???!! (Reluctant lol!!) 😅🙄

The school part happened to me (for God's sake I had to tutor a kid that tried to stab my eye with a pencil!) and it made se SO resentful that The conditioning never took place. Unexpected results I guess.

Life's too short for fixer uppers.

This boils my blood more than I expected it to and is wrong on so many levels. The teacher making the quiet girl do the adult job of “managing” the scrotlet’s behavior, already making it her responsibility to raise him, only for him to abuse her and drag down her academic performance.
Even if I COULD fix a man/boy, I will never do so, especially not at my own expense in any way whatsoever.

These boys shouldn't be allowed inside a classroom. Can't do the work without distracting others? Sit in an isolated booth alone and do the work there.
Why does one nasty little boy's 'right' to be in class trump the rights of the 28 other students to get a good education?

I’m a teacher, and can’t agree with this more. My school has a culture of “always keep the kid in the classroom,” so basically time out is as much as we can do. It is ridiculous! The disruptive kid absolutely should not be allowed to infringe on the rights of 30 others, yet we have to always make the parents happy, basically by keeping their child in school and maintaining the illusion that their child’s behavior isn’t that bad. It’s completely ridiculous!

This is why I don't like to see people blaming teachers in these situations. Just go to r / teaching and you will see the absolute crap teachers have to put up with. I can only imagine the tirade of abuse/complaints they must get from entitled parents if their precious Snotley is removed from the classroom. It's easy to blame the teachers when we should be criticizing the parents who failed to raise their kid properly.
Teachers aren't parents. They're working professionals just like the rest of us. These kinds of posts always make me uncomfortable tbh.

I agree! I try to just isolate the kid, but I teach specials, so I only have them for an hour at a time. I cannot imagine having the troublemakers for 8 hours a day! I feel bad for the well behaved kids who have to sit with the bad kids, but realistically, the teacher can’t do much else. I’m fortunate to only have to get through an hour with them.

YES. Why should he get a second chance for behavioral issues when the other students aren't even getting a first chance? Maybe the other students need to not be distracted or need quiet time to do well academically....

Right! Students like this only drag others down and make the teacher waste precious time and energy. But if teachers punish them, they themselves will get in trouble with admin, it's systemic problem in public education.

Yep. Well the is joke on the teacher because once she made two guys sit with me, one front and the other behind (column seating arrangement) and I just allowed them to continue talking😇 They even talked to me for a bit.Guess who weren't sitting next to me in a few days 🤣
I am the quiet well mannered one, and always sit next to girls. And I unconciously made the teacher regret her choice. I do remember thinking "what makes her think that I will do anything to stop them from speaking?"
🤷🏽♀️Young me's intuition knew what's up.

SAME LOL!😛 I was a good, well mannered pupil. She put an obnoxious boy with me but as I was pretty quiet, I didn't even pay attention to the dumbass, didnt even speak to him. Yeah, he was soon sat with someone else🤦🏼♀️
CHECK. MATE. 💅

Ya'll I wished that happened to me, but I'm always seated next to the class bully/bad b0y 🤮 shitheads are the main reason I was miserable so I barely remember my high school days to cope. Lunch breaks were my only saving grace because our school divides the canteen for girls and boys.

In all honesty this just highlights one reason girls do better in schools without boys. Every study shows the exact same, girls succeed in education when boys aren't around but boys do better when girls are around.
Which is honestly true in every other aspect of life too.

This happened! it's also a violation of boundaries. Did we want some annoying pos next to us?? no.

Happened to me, teacher put my quiet ass next to 2 football players who were really disruptive. Turned out I liked a certain video game as much as they did, made some new friends with those guys and the seating arrangement only lasted 2 weeks because of that.

I really hate that they do that.

This backfired on my teacher because I was a really well behaved student but with a hidden mischievous streak that came out around difficult characters lol.
So, my teacher sat me down next to this troublemaker boy in class. At first he was wary of me and probably thought I was there to babysit him. However, I didn't give a shit and as the class progressed I made him laugh so much that he started enjoying my company. We became friends and would have laughing fits at our desks, which probably disrupted the class even further. Finally, my teacher moved me back to my original seat lol.
Gained a new friend, got taken off of babysitting duty 😂
And I also still passed school with very high grades.

Oh is THAT why I was always assigned seats next to the problematic kids? I remember in the fourth grade being assigned desk partners with a boy who was always super distracting and probably had a crush on me. We had been assigned seats next to each other the year before in another teacher’s classroom. At recess I asked the teacher in private if I could not be seated next to him; she asked me why and I couldn’t really verbalize the vibe I got from him, the best I could do was say I just didn’t like him. Obviously that wasn’t reason enough for her to change the whole seating chart a day into the school year, but ugh.
Later on I’d regularly get seated near boys who would cheat off my tests and I’d be too shy (or I’d actually maybe had a crush on them) to say anything about it. It was a usual occurrence.
