Understand how you look matters most on a dating app.

Now I'm not just speaking about your actual appearance. I'm talking about how you present yourself as an individual. You will get a person to swipe to your next pictures if you make yourself appear as an attractive individual. Meaning you have something to offer. Weather being an interesting person, or your lifestyle itself being good enough for someone to think they want to implement themselves into it.

1

Your first picture needs to be an absolute monster of quality.

I'm talking hiring an actual professional for a photoshoot in your best clothes, with a fine background, and presenting yourself in the best frame possible.

If you're fit all round, make it a full picture of yourself. If you have belly fat but are good elsewhere, make it from chest up, etc. Make sure you're wearing your best fit, that stands out and flatters you most. Let it present you as a person.

I would personally choose a shot of myself from chest up, in a shirt that fits the current time (if it's winter, make it a coat and sweater underneath, if it's summer, make it a simple white (if you're skinny) or black (if you're plump) shirt with short sleeves. Pluck your eyebrows, shave properly, wax your washed hair, and most importantly, smile.

Make yourself stand out from the background. Maybe a blurry yellow or blue in the back with you in the center.

AVOID NON PROFESSIONAL PICTURES, OR PICTURES WITH OTHER PEOPLE FOR YOUR FIRST PHOTO.

2

May the second picture of you implement you and your pet.

You can hire a professional for this one too. I would personally take a picture of myself infront of my aquarium, sitting on the floor, with my hamster on my shoulder. It's cute, endearing, and shows love of animals. It's going to attract more people than it will turn away.

If you don't have a pet, take a picture of yourself at the zoo. People love animals, and if they don't necessarily want pets (presumably you don't have one), they'll still like other animals. So taking a picture next to a cool looking animal will actually do the trick aswell.

3

The third picture should show you participating in a sport, or at the gym.

If you are a person who participates in multiple sports, or a sport and goes to the gym, I'd recommend no more than 2 pictures of yourself participating in those activities in a row.

For me, it would be a portrait picture of me sparring at a fencing match as the 3rd photo, and a deadlift hold as my 4th. Since I enjoy sports a lot, I would ideally want to attract someone who does aswell, so this would increase my chances, if not only make me seem more impressive.

(Avoid showing the weight of your plates or dumbbells in the gym unless the number is impressive).

If you're not a sporty person, exclude this part. But understand that by going to the gym or participating in sports can not only make you look better physically and socially. Do enroll if you're not already.

4

Make it a group picture.

If you have a good group pohoto with you and lots of friends, do share it. But understand the implications of it. If it's in a club, it will imply that you're a party type of guy, and that will certainly attract, and detract some people. Make especially sure it represents you. Because if you never go to the club, but have a photo of yourself in one, it could imply otherwise.

If you for example go to concerts or different types of social event (maybe even a chess competition, or card game tournament) then be sure to show it. If it has people around you, even better.

Anything social will do, because being a social person is always a positive thing. Unless you're not, then I'd advise either to start working on that part of yourself, or go all out and try and attract a fellow anti social personality.

5

Make sure your profile represents THE real you.

Never lie. Lying leads nowhere on a dating profile. You are much better off presenting your true self, because then you're most likely attract someone you can vibe with. You wouldn't want to try and attract someone that's interested in the fake you. Because you wouldn't be able to keep that person interested regardless.
