FDS often talks about men being interested in women out of their league but what about the reverse situation? I'm obviously not talking about women pursuing men but women sending subtle signals to men they like. Yes, it's important to be confident around men and not think "the guy I am attracted to will probably never like me back", but honestly, men who are from the upper class and hot enough to model almost always only date extremely rich or attractive women. This is obviously an extreme example but it applies to smaller differences in terms of wealth, social status, and attractiveness (eg. a small business owner who earns USD300,000 per year versus a translator working as an employee).

Even back when I was unwoke, I don't think I was ever obsessed with a guy who is much wealthier than me. When I come across men who are much wealthier than me, I will naturally behave in a professional-like manner around them. If I were ever attracted to such a guy, I would probably think the social class difference would be an issue (I.e. the guy would probably never like me back) soI would just hide my interest.

How much of an issue are "leagues" in dating? How can I know if a guy is truly out of my league or if I am just overthinking things? Yes, a lot of users here encourage women to date men wealthier than them, but how wealthy is too wealthy? I think most of us can agree on how differences such as social class differences can potentially result in a lot of compatibility issues even if the two of you are ok with dating each other. If we ever become attracted to men we perceive as out of our league, should we even bother signaling our interest to them or would we just embarrass ourselves?
