“Interview with a Sociopath” - Sociopath admits he actively hones in to manipulate when he senses a person is weak; Behavior is similar to that of LVM/NVMs. Perhaps many of the LVMs/NVMs discussed here also have Cluster B personality disorders (including sociopathy, narcissism, etc) like this man.

I have sparsely dated for the past year and a half, with my standards being so high because of FDS. I've also built myself up after recovering from a messy breakup with a LONG shadow period. When I see friends, they tell me I'm glowing inside and out with balance and self love. Ironically, though, the result has been not-so-good for the male gaze. Years ago, when I was really nervous and weak, I got approached very often by scrotes. It's funny how sociopaths can easily identify nervous body language and hone in on you. I've never been in better shape and radiate with confidence, but the majority of men, who are seeking out a bangmaid, don't want a second date anymore. I wear it as a badge of honor, knowing that sociopaths seek out victims, not life partners.

No he is not the average man. I work in a male forensic unit. He is a diagnosed psychopath. Not at narcissist. He is flat in affect ie monotone, shallow range of emotions. He also has only one end goal to his using and he is done. Narcissists prefer the drawn out ballet, the gradual decline in facade. A psychopath will just “snap out of it” bye! No remorse. He has no emotions. The narcissist does have emotions but he is fractured and they do get displayed, just in atypical ways.

Oh puhhh-lease. Latest fashion among boring-ass LVM is claiming to be a Narcissist or Sociopath because it's somehow glamorous and "alpha". No, dear, you're just a manipulative douchey garden variety predator. A genuine cluster B is unmistakable by the fact they ruin each and every relationship, friendship, family, work - they can't help themselves. Unless they are very rich and powerful, they are completely incapable of flying under the radar because they're obviously batshit insane.

As Lundy Bancroft recently said (to much protest from the "my LVM ex is a genuine psychopath" faction), if everyone thinks he's lovely and only his partner behind closed doors sees his real face, that's just a regular abuser. He may be narcissistic, because masculinity basically IS a form of narcissism, but that doesn't mean he has NPD. Genuine NPD is unmistakable once you've seen it, they leave a trail of destruction, aggrieved former friends and associates, and tales of bizarre and inappropriate behaviour in their wake.

This here dude is simlly a self important brat that should have been grounded more often.

I remember in the podcast episode with Lundy Bancroft that he said abusive men treat women in a way that mirrors some aspects of npd, but calling the whole human a narcissist waters down the diagnosis. I'm sure some of the lvms/nvms might have it but it's more likely that they just have some of the traits because that's how they were 'taught' to treat women, actual cluster bs are absolutely life ruining if they're not in treatment.

But the fact that most women experience aspects of manipulation and abuse that is similar to being hurt by a cluster b person because that's how abusive people are conditioned to treat women is wild in it's own right! This interview is very eye opening.

Yes they do, I am reading “when men behave badly” By David buss and it says explicitly that people with dark triad traits do these things / are LVM bc the only way they can trap people with them is to use negative tactics instead of just being a good person (because they never will be)

His therapist needs to tell him that his choice words such as “outsmarting them” are what keeps feeding his ego. No, you’re not outsmarting anyone. You’re not a genius. You’re just taking an advantage of people’s trust.

People have no reason not to believe that your dog is in a hospital, dying. That’s not a genius move, that’s something that a person couldn’t fathom imagining that someone would lie about that. This guy clearly needs more work.
