Whether or not dating is worth it depends on where you live. Every town has a different ratio of men and women aged 18 - 40. The Red Pill tries to make you think those factors are irrelevant, but they're not.

In general, only a tiny percentage of women are looking for partners on social media and dating apps (or bars). To increase your chance of meeting a woman, you need to be in a large urban area, have a full-time job in a physical location (not working from home), and have hobbies, friends, and acquaintances. Once you're in a relationship, you can move to a tiny island if she's okay with that.

You can meet women in tiny villages or online games like World of Warcraft, but the chances are significantly smaller. I would not recommend online dating to anyone if alternatives are available.

I'd argue that social media has been detrimental to society and most people's both mental and physical health, that includes dating. Human beings simply aren't made to intake this level of information and it's only amplified the worst fallacies of society

Probably goes both ways. Men are also less attracted to average looking women after they see movie actresses on TV or Instagram models

The redpill is very good in creating false narratives.

"Women are riding the cock carousel" well actually there is a huge orgasm gap between heterosexual men and women and more and more women choose to refrain from casual sex because it isn't satisfying for them, quite literally.

"Women always receive thousands of compliments a day..." Well, only from men who want to have sex with us, the compliments we receive are barely ever genuine and without a double agenda.

Just because the woman get more attention does not mean better quality. Both struggle like hell in their own right and both mainly due to social pressure and messaging.

Social media has ruined dating for everyone. A woman will get 100s of messages that won’t go anywhere. Not to mention the standards for looks and how photogenic a woman should be (at all times) has gone way up thanks to Instagram and filters. Everyone is putting on a front and it’s very hard to genuinely meet and get to know people compared to pre-social media times.

I think so. But not for the typical red pill reasons. It's just that people now spend their time looking at their phones instead of socializing with other people, talking to their partners, taking care of their kids, having sex, etc.

I was recently looking at a study that said that alcohol consumption is down in teenagers, and it's because most of them are at home looking at their phones or playing video games than partying or being at the park with their friends.

Well, think of it this way. If there are a roughly equal amount of men and women looking to date, but say... 5 men for every 1 woman on a dating app... that means there are an awful lot of women who are finding other ways to date. If you don't like the "odds" of dating apps, find other ways to date.

It’s ruined not just dating but modern society from a communication standpoint as it correlates high to the following.

Tech addiction.

Lower attention span

Dopamine addiction

Dopamine tolerance

Lack of motivation.

Increase in depression.

Increase in suicidal ideation especially in relation to teenage women and beauty standards via apps like Instagram.

Loss of social and written communication skills.

Increase in a false sense of worth in relation to others.

Increase in narcissistic traits and vanity.

Increase in entitlement.

If you do not believe me you can google social media negative effects or type in these correlations in a scholar searched and you’ll be surprised by what you see.

Social media is not the cause of these however.

And like all addictive or programming type behaviours, it’s the dose that makes the poison.

If it’s adding to your life that’s great.

If it takes away and you still feel the need to use it, it might be a problem.

Low value women get hundreds of mails. Since good looking guys will have sex with a 6 the women think that they are a 10. I am a decent looking guy. In shape etc. I have sent 350 messages and got 2 weirdos to respond. The same top 3% of men are sleeping with every decent women. This has destroyed marriages in a huge way. Women can cheat the same night you have some minor fight. Or screw your best friend. Become a Mormon. They are loyal to a fault. Women aren't as bad. That or the Filapine women. They are old school and love older men. Much older.
