It's not a bad thing per se, but I don't think totally isolating yourself on purpose is the best idea. Like you said in your other comment "being around people is what always made me feel more lonely than with myself", I totally resonate with that and understand you. That's not a bad thing. But purposefully isolating yourself may create a kind of dysphoria in your brain towards women. And I don't think that's healthy. I hope you get what I mean. But I totally do agree that you needn't force yourself! But you don't want to become 'afraid'.

The way I see it with people like us, we are very careful and particular about who we let close to us, we hold value in those we allow into our lives, which many confuse with shyness or being an introvert, etc. Not sure if that resonates with you, but that's how I see it at least. Best wishes!

I've been feeling this exact same way for as long as I can remember. Looks like I found someone like me. First of all know that there's nothing wrong with you. And it's a good thing to avoid women nowadays because of the social climate. Avoiding women doesn't mean I hate them. Like yourself, I just prefer a solitary life. Since I've always been a loner, being alone doesn't really affect me. I do interact with women but don't really have close relationships of any sort with women. If I hated women, I would concentrate all my energy on hurting them and belittling them. That's not what I intend at all, I just don't care about women and their lives. I'm focusing on self improvement.

Think of it with the genders reversed. Do you think its ok for women to avoid men for a particular reason? If the answer is yes, then you're ok. If not, then don't avoid women.

I'm also curious if you've considered your sexuality. You're asking if it's okay to avoid women, which I assume is because you feel some degree of pressure to start a family or at least be in love, but if that's the case I'd ask myself if the pressure is internal or external. If it's all external there's a decent chance you're somewhere around aro-ace

I always like to swap genders in a story to see if there’s an issue. Replace women with men in your story and see if it sounds like a bad thing. Or maybe race.

certainty not, as long as you don't end up making assumptions about all women, since if you don't interact with women, you'd lack some direct information.

like saying something like "all women only slander" or "all women's conversation's are boring" isn't helpful/good, and certainly assuming that of ALL women would be bad.

also, this is true for all groups, it's ok with any group A to avoid any group B, as long as you don't create/spread prejudice/misinformation.

I do not engage women either, I find their writings, focus and style of discussion shallow and uninteresting. But as I look at their resilience, determination and strength of purpose I am amazed and wish them well in all they hope to achieve. I do not read their writings, do not listen to their music, do not watch their movies or listen to their teachings. They are my equal and, in some cases, my better, I still do not want to adopt their position. I don’t understand why there is a perceived need to interact with them, and why so many of do not understand my need to not be emotionally involved. At my age it is not something I have to worry about for much longer, but behind every conflict in my life the dissenting opinion of a woman has always played a significant role. I believe emotion is not rational thought, nor is co-dependency a suitable foundation on which base my life. But I do strongly agree that all women have a right to practice their beliefs and to receive equal reward for their endeavours.

EDIT: there are plenty of women who dislike the bitchiness of other women and seek company of men for their straightforwardness. Listen to women who dated men and then women and they'll mostly all say women are harder to deal with. Many women know this fact, just the same way you and I know certain men are incredibly hard to deal with, and should be avoided.

Ah.... most women are great. They are exactly the same as men in one regard (at least the ones I know) enjoy a good laugh and good company. Treat them with respect, make them laugh and what happens is one might want to share your bed. It's what happened to me (married with 3 kids with the love of my life) but as human beings there are some are some that are aresholes just like some men are arseholes.... avoid those people.

I think the older generation women on average are awesome. Having a female mentor and being exposed to a feminine woman and femininity itself is healthy for men to develop their feminine side. The current generation of women imho are not women. They are so masculine. Always starting something. Tending towards violence either verbally, physically or socially. It’s just human nature when it’s so protected for women to behave like unhinged men and be encouraged to do it more. No checks.

An average man if he gets too aggressive gets checked at a young age. He learns quickly the limits. Women are never taught any limits anymore. They can behave as they wish and never face any consequences. They behave worse than the average man.

All men would do well to come across a proper nurturing feminine woman and develop that side within themselves. If women aren’t going to embrace it, at least men can embrace that side within themselves. Both masculinity and femininity are needed for a successful society.

Carl Jung really gets into it on deep level. It’s sort of confusing but basically we all have an unhealthy version of the opposite gender in us. It comes out under fear, anxiety or stress ie. tantrum throwing. We must all learn to see that side and to help it grow into an adult form of expression of the opposite as opposed to the toddler form.

Honestly if this is your genuine experience I would speak to a psychologist about this rather than reddit. People here will say this is part of the "MGTOW" culture, but humans are social creatures and for many this type of stoic isolationist lifestyle is not going to be healthy in the long term (though perhaps might give some respite in the short term). Maybe you are okay with living your life not talking to women, however based on your question here I am guessing you are at least a little concerned. What you describe certainly isn't typical behaviour, so in the least a psychologist will be able to identify what the cause might be, and provide you some possible solutions if it is something you want to address (which I think you should, because long term this may end up hurting you far more by hampering your ability to talk to women).

yes. Believe it or not there are some very nice caring women out there. I have always had mostly female friends and I seem to actually get along much better with them. Of course I have a bad history with them as far as dating but to avoid any group of people outright would be kind of silly.
