You pay child support. Then, you can buy your daughter things outright from you. only, or your ex can ask you to pay 50% of some expense she doesn't want to buy herself and you can say yes or no. Keep in mind that your ex is going to play the head game with your daughter ' I asked your dad and he refuses to pay for that thing' after she's already set the expectation with the kid, setting up alienation.
