Is this sub right for me? Banned from a feminist sub for discussing parental alienation in a relevant post. Despite that, still agree with the feminist position on some fronts.

TLDR: My Venn diagram overlaps with some feminist positions, like abortion rights, but I also advocate for things important to men, like a need for change in how the family court handles custody/support.

I have always been left-leaning politically, and everything I have ever been told about Men's Rights Activists is that this is a place for the far right where they primarily work to harm women rather then actually look out for men. Seems extreme to me. I won't look to internet definitions, but will instead look to the people active in these communities. I do this because despite the definition touted by feminists, their masses are not going for equality. I was banned recently from a feminist sub for discussing inequalities in family court and custody. I was not hateful/disrespectful about it and provided sources. I sprinkled in how I support other aspects of feminism, such as abortion rights, so it was not an attack on feminism, but bringing recognition to a men's issue in a relevant post. I would argue I was winning the debate, and then I got banned. That doesn't sit well with me. At one point before divorce/custody became relevant in my life, I considered myself a feminist, and there are tenets they represent that I do side with.

Any in the Mens' Rights sub side with feminists on some issues? Have you also been criticized by feminists for caring about a mens' issue?

From what I have seen, this sub is at least not one to silence or take down an opposing viewpoint, and that is important to me.
