I have sympathy for my guy friends who are having trouble and If I could offer advice I would, I dont have sympathy for men as a political class for finding dating hard. Its not a form of oppression and most of the time its just used as a justification to verbally degrade and spew hatred toward women (of which I am one) Why would I sympathize with a bunch of people I dont know who hate me ?

Usually something most people can do is considered easy, while something most people can't do is considered hard. For example getting into Harvard is hard, but getting into your average community College is easy.

I believe it can be difficult to date as a man, but the men in ppd do not really have my sympathy. If anything they made me less sympathetic because of their shitty attitudes.

saying how it is understandable that no women want to have sex with those men, because they are stupid, toxic and do not care about women problems and are selfishly caring about their sexless life. Oh, so those women want men to be supportive, empathetic towards women and their problems, but when it is about reverse case, women do not give a penny about men problems?

This reinforces my point. Men here complain about women not being sympathetic to their plight in dating. Women complain about the loss of a medical and reproductive rights and somehow they're equivalent issues.

Like women would very much want men to not take away and trample over our rights. Men want women to lower their standards and have sex with them.

Women say we'd really like to not be harassed, raped, insulted, have our rights taken away from us etc.

Men here go: hah go on and don't sleep woth us then and don't complain when civilization crumbles because of all the angry incels!!!!!!

Of course it's hard to date women. Women, like men, can be shallow. We don't match with men for the stupidest shit and we don't put as much effort in the texting process.

But at the same time you not being able to date is pretty different from women in America losing out on reproductive rights.

The equivalent of men not being able to get laid are women who complain about being used for sex. But as always men are afraid women will laugh at them, women are afraid men will kill them.

At the end of the day you can try to get remote strangers to understand your reality as much as you want, but it's not gonna happen if everything they have witnessed in their day to day lives contradicts what you are saying.

If a woman has witnessed every man up to and including her morbidly obese relatives wind up in relationships then yeah, she's going to have a hard time believing that the average man can't get a second look from a woman. The inevitable addenda ("yeah but is she hot" "what is their sex life like") just adds fuel to the perception that there's some begging chooser bullshit going on.

Dating no matter what gender is hard full stop It's weird and awkward and stressful, it's basically an interview with a stranger who is vetting you on your suitability to be a around for any period of time, some stranger is low-key judging you in the most intimate way possible and there is always the chance of rejection which is almost impossible not to take personally under most circumstances - so yeah, dating is a shitshow for everyone.

No woman. Anywhere. Is claiming that we have some sort of monopoly on finding dating difficult.

Both genders have a hard time dating.

When a woman says something here that doesn't fit the mans narrative (like like not liking ripped men, finding Jack Black sexually attractive, not liking a man because he's an arsehore, being attracted to various types of men, having trouble getting a date) they are acused of lying.

I believe dating, in any gender dynamic, is difficult. It'll have moments of disappointment and heartbreak and loneliness. Finding the right person is an awful chore, and too many things leading up to it will end up being more painful than you ever expected. I get that. I don't consider dating woes to be a "men's problem." But yeah, it can be difficult for men.

I think a lot of people are empathetic, and especially if we are dating someone, we try to make that experience good for them. Pretty much except.for users and cheaters, people will be good to their partners.

What do you think I can do? How can I make men's lives easier? Would it be easier if I told you how much harder you have it than me? That would be a lie. I struggled, too. I felt unloved and sexually frustrated, too. I even got assaulted just for giving people a chance to spend time together. I don't know if that would be really kind or helpful, and it's certainly not honest to say I think men have it WAY WORSE. Doesn't mean I can't see the struggle.

In America yes because of what men consider average vs what actually is average. Plus the fact that men don’t take their own advice when it comes to dating.

Plus stats shows currently the majority of men manage to have sex. So it can’t be that hard if most men can do it.

My view may be biased though because I’ve dated both men and women. I didn’t find dating women particularly hard.

To add to that also I’ve dated men that would be considered sexually unsuccessful and it’s very clear why that’s the case but I don’t think they have the awareness to understand why they struggle. Then there’s those that do but don’t want to accept it.

Well, most of us are dating or married to men. So in light of the fact that the genders are roughly 50/50 split, yes it is a little hard to believe it’s as difficult as men here claim. I know that dating women comes with its own set of challenges and I’m sure most women would agree. But that doesn’t seem to be the issue, the real issue is that most of the time men here are complaining they can’t get casual sex, or rather, as much as they want. That won’t garner any more sympathy than an average woman complaining that she can’t get a 6/6/6 man to marry her.

It should be hard for men to get sex you are asking a woman to risk her life, safety and getting pregnant so most are cautious. Also noting women are still shamed by men many have to vet. I’m not sure I understand your problem?

Like when we want men to empathise it’s because we no longer feel safe due to legal body violating us. Whereas you seem annoyed that individual women don’t want to date men but aren’t guys the same ones that get mad if a girl is “easy”?

I can say as a bicurious person Ive been trying to get with a woman for over 10 years with no luck. Only ones I had zero interest in or seemed to have mental issues etc were mildly interested. This is coming from someone who people think looks really good, I work out and have had people throw themselves at me. Men are much easier but that being said, neither gender is a easy for relationships. Finding someone you actually connect with enough to want to date is harder than sex.
