Please no judgement because I'm trying very hard and am quite sensitive about this:

I am amazing at keeping a clean home and being organized. I get anxiety about having dirty spaces so tidying up, being organized, cleaning often and thoroughly are done automatically and come very easily to me. My home is always immaculate.

However, I struggle a lot with personal cleanliness. Whenever I eat I stain my clothes and get crumbs everywhere. Even with easy to eat foods, even when I eat with a fork and knife. There have been times when I am extra careful because I am eating at a restaurant and realize I have somehow gotten food on my glasses, all my fingers, in my hair, and on my clothes.

I grew up extremely poor and feel guilty washing my clothes after wearing them once so I do the sniff test but I realized I am nose blind when it comes to B.O.. I will put on clothes that SMELL and not realize it. My skin is super dry and sensitive so I try to shower only when my skin can take it but then I actually start to smell a little ripe.

I am so tired and frustrated with having hygiene problems as a woman in her early twenties and feel defeated because I have been able to get the rest of my life in order after growing up in a dirty and chaotic environment raised in a toxic mindset. My home is pristine, my personal affairs are always in order, I am proud of how I conduct myself, my finances are responsibly managed, and I keep myself in great shape, etc.

I do very well when it comes to rules and routines so things like skin care, workouts, meals, and dental hygiene are done on schedule without fail because that's how it's supposed to be done. But I think I struggle more with timing showers and laundry because it's a little subjective. Also I struggle with food because I am extremely oblivious.

Does anyone have any good tips and rules of thumb I can use? Something along the lines of "meals should be spaced 5 hours apart". Something that can be utilized even if your schedule goes out of whack like not waking up at the same time every day but still remains tied to a rule and regular. Ty!!!
