Some of these reasonings are such bullshit. Men DIE from suicides at 4 times the rate of women in the US. That seems far more significant than “attempts”.

Furthermore it makes no sense to say that these women try to kill themselves because men oppressed them. I mean would you say that men have a FAR HIGHER number suicide deaths because they are oppressed by women? There is no correlation, let alone causation.

Gender paygap has been debunked many times so I don’t feel like rehashing it. And women got the right to vote over ONE HUNDRED years ago, so I don’t really see what your point is. You go back far enough in time and most people were oppressed everywhere. I don’t even know what to make of the last stat, since there is a HUGE gap between sexual harrassment and sexual assault, and to be frank I don’t really know exactly what constitutes either these days.

Apparently when you count “being made to penetrate” and having sex while intoxicated as rape, men and women are “raped” at nearly the same rate. Except for women it is rape but for men it is classified as “other sexual violence”. More importantly, does it really make sense to classify drunken sex in the same category as violent rape? I don’t know, but I don’t think so.

The suicide stats are BS because they don't account for the fact that, since women choose less lethal methods, they're more likely to survive long enough to make multiple attempts.

Imagine you have 100 men and 100 women. 10 of the men are suicidal and shoot themselves. They all die. 5 of the women are suicidal. They slit their wrists. They're found passed out and rushed to the ER. Then they try taking sleeping pills. They throw some of them up and end up in the ER again. Finally they try hanging and that works and they die. The women made 15 attempts. The women made more attempts, but fewer women were suicidal.

"Percentage of suicide attempts by gender" and "Percentage of people who attempt suicide, by gender" are not the same quantity. If you wanna know which gender struggles more with suicidality, you want the latter, but your sources only show the former.

Radical feminism is equally bad as radical masculinity. However, Men need Men right now. Men today are craving brotherhood. This back and forth power struggle between men and women will never end until we put the power to make new people in the hands of both Mother and Father. Equal choice to have the baby or not…. Let’s start there. Making people. Since the dawn of man, only 50% of the population has had the power to control reproduction. The female chooses when and with whom she has sex with, and thus, when she makes a baby. Females we’re in control of world long before the advent of feminism.

A lot of things women have fought for equality, which is good. Thing is that feminists still don't think equality is enough. Good example you just mentioned, the banned subreddits. MGTOW gets banned but WGTOW, which is the exact same thing but for women is still up and running.

If you want change and I mean you really want change, it comes from within. Then you have to understand perspective.

Even if you have the desire to change from within, it won't make much of a difference because the hatred towards men will still have leverage in society.

I agree with your general conclusion.

At this point my problem with the narrative that women are oppressed is that you can justify anything with it. For example:

"Women make less money than men, must be because women are oppressed."

Disregarding that oppression is the lesser factor in a bigger spectrum of factors, like choice of work or agreeableness.

"Statistics show that women are more likely to attempt suicide, it's because women are oppressed."

Statistics also show higher rates of male suicides, but that doesn't favor the narrative.

"We don't have a lot of women in CEO positions, must be oppression."

We don't have a lot of women in lower social positions either, like homelessness (75% of men) or war drafts. These positions, of course, are not attractive like a CEO position.

Surely men must get SEO positions easily because society favors them. A position like that doesn't require work, risks and sacrifices. In all seriousness now, even then we're talking about a very very small percentage of men.

I will argue that this is because men have the drive to go through all that (in theory) because that's how they win in life. Rather, women don't pursue these positions (generally) because it's not worth it for them.

But in my examples you can see how the oppression justification can be used for anything. Even for demands like "We should get 50% men, 50% women in CEO positions to stop the oppression". Disregarding any common sense, in the pursuit for more benefits and less responsibilities for women.

I agree that men and women are oppressed in different social positions. Yet the current society looks at women's unfavorable positions, disregarding everything else, to paint a certain narrative.

You can cheery pick random metrics to support any argument. Most casualties of war are men. Legal sentence are harsher for men. Most workplace injuries are sustained by men. Men have been oppressed since recorded history! See how easy it is?

In the West (and the rest of the world), men love porn and prostitution. This industry is build on sex slavery and trafficking of women and children (mostly girls). Porn and prostitution is all about men's sexual domination over women, it's sadistic and degrading to wonen. Then there is all the rapes, harassment, stalking and killing of women by men. Men still make up majority of all actual suicide. Men going through divorce are 11x more likely to commit suicide than Women

According to wikipedia, the adjusted pay gap "taking into account differences in hours worked, occupations chosen, education and job experience" is 95%. The remaining 5% might not be any injustice and could be explained by men being better at whatever they choose to do because they're more ambitious, stronger (it still matters in some jobs), more focused, etc. Just look at any sport: almost all the best performers are always men. If you want to see some injustice, have you tried adjusting for height? (it's been shown that somehow taller people get paid more). What if we actually have a height gap, not a gender gap, and short men are the most victimized victims, would you help them?

Men too. And bullying, aggressions, etc.
