The point of this sub is not to be specific but to address relatively true generalizations in dating. I think everyone on this sub is well aware factors like age or location or race will play major roles in dating.

The issue is people taking generalizations too far and negating context as a reality. Ex —> the men on this sub who cry that ALL women are evil liars who purposefully mislead men about what is attractive 🤡

Everyone on this sub is annoying because we are all so entrenched in our own views

I find this a whole lot with the discussions where guys are trying to convince us they should just be able to cold approach a pretty young girl and ask her on a date and then she accepts and pays for her own meal at a nice eatery. Like dude...most guys don't do that. Most guys do things like ask out for noodles after work that girl from another company who they spoke to on the phone about the problems with the new courier service her boss is using, and she laughed what seemed genuinely laughter at his jokes. I need to know why you want to use one of the less commonly used tools in the toolkit so often and so heavily and so clumsily that the cost becomes an issue. Are you foreign and have managed to get totally the wrong idea? Did your parents teach you nothing except make and keep money? Is this what they do in the arranged marriage process back in the old country? What gives...why you be like this? Why are you insisting that something most guys spend less on in a year than they do on getting coffee for themselves is a massive injustice?

The problem with the manosphere and TRP, coming from a guy who (a) has had success with online dating and (b) had success picking up women from bars and who had to learn both just by simple trial and error, is that they get almost every part of it wrong --- at least from my experience.

You partially hit it with your listing various attributes that simply will have an effect on your success, i.e. location, race, school, etc.

But what you need to include is simple variance --- being in the right place at the right time when she's in the right mood with the right logistics and the right life situation.

But hey, why take my word for it.

All the alfalfa studs are increasingly getting the women? Not according to GSS data dating back a hundred years.

Women somehow unhappy with their husbands/married partners because they're settling for baiter malez? Not according to studies on the subject. And for the sex-obsessed, with about half the women saying their husband is the 'best sex' they've ever had.

Being an aloof, hard-to-get jackass is the way to make women horny? Not according to studies that have concluded that kindness, warmth, and good listening are key factors in orgasmic frequency for women.

Women not being attracted to their long-term partners as much as short-term ones? Not according to research that shows physical attraction can and often does grow with time.

Looks deciding most, if not all, of choice in mate selection? Not according to speed date studies showing explicitly (which is funny because blackpillers rely extensively on these studies and misread them constantly) that the vast majority of these outcomes are decided by....variance, essentially. Physical attractiveness is perhaps the most salient factor, but it explains 20% or less of the variance in outcomes.

So, to conclude, TRP and the manosphere are bad because they're wrong both in my experience and tested against the weight of available data.

I wouldn't really say context is lacking, as much as its just hidden behind jargon alot. For example the context of location is covered by "geomaxxing" and the context of age is fundamental to "AFBB" (women giving their youth to alphas, with betas footing the bill as they age.)

In the times that context is omitted, context doesn't really matter. Things like 80/20 are basically true in all contexts. The exact percentage might change. It might be 75/25 or 90/10. The make up of the top men might change depending on demographics as well. But the general principle that a minority of top men exists and that they get the majority of sexual value doesn't change.
