I feel like people immediately call bodies that they don’t see often fake, unnatural, unrealistic, unattainable. Claim it’s plastic surgery, that they’re starving, no one looks like that in real life etc. Not even talking about celebrities and/or people with plastic surgery (I think that can set unrealistic standards).

People calling any “attractive” body fake gives more of a false idea. Some people do look like that. In real life. We have different genetics, different lifestyles that result in different bodies and that’s fine.

The immediate reaction of discrediting someone by saying things like “that’s not how real men/women look”, “she’s starving herself”, “she has implants”, “he doesn’t realize women are not into that”, “you can’t naturally be that thin/have a hourglass shape/have boobs at that weight” etc. is weird as hell.
